These are just some sample headlines we see every day, but it's not so easy to locate exactly where these are. Mile-1 helps save the day!

KEZI, "Evacuation levels reduced for homes near Milepost 97 fire."
NewsChannel20, "Illinois State Troopers and first responders were called to a crash on I-57 northbound near milepost 241 Wednesday afternoon."

Just started a job a job as an Emergency Response Tech where we respond to accidents, broken down cars, and assist police/emts etc by securing the road way. We will respond to the scene and put up an arrow board and or cones to divert traffic as needed. Dispatch/police/ems only use mile markers to identify locations. So for example dispatch and or police will come on the radio and say 10-50 (accident) 53.1 (mile marker) 95 Southbound. So this is an extremely helpful app as I learn these mile markers. Just today there was a crash involving a motorcycle on I-95 south. Luckily I am still riding around with someone whos training me so he knew the location instantly. Time is of the essence getting to and securing the scene for EMT/Firefighters/Police etc. As I parked the truck for lunch later that day I said to myself maybe there is an app that shows mile markers and can show a route to a specific one. Low and behold you are the only app that does just that. So far it has been easy to use, the only thing I would add is to be able to rotate the map so North doesnt always point up. Other than that so far so good, ill be using this for the next month or so and will post updates if needed. Thanks for developing an app like this.

Thanks so much for such a thoughtful review! Glad this helps and we appreciate all of the people involved in keeping us safe. Great suggestion on the map rotation. I added it to the most recent update.
Great app!

I’m a Paramedic in one of the largest metropolitan cities in America. We have multiple interstate systems that’s intersect throughout our city. This app is a game changer for navigating and getting to calls with a lot less confusion. Only thing I would change is being able to select the direction of travel on each interstate so you end up on the correct side of the interstate but even without that this app is still more helpful than anything else I’ve ever used.

Thank you for the review! Glad it helps. Dual direction of travel has been a popular request. I plan to implement an option in the near future. Please feel free to send a DM and I can prioritize your state/routes sooner.
Great implementation

This app is put together very well. Easy interface and visibly appealing. We always said it would be extremely beneficial to everyone (especially patients) if First responders and dispatch centers used mile markers. There are some smaller highways that have not been included yet, but rest assured, the team is working on it! They responded to my email in just a few hours. Hope this is the future for first responders.

How did I not find this before today?!

I don’t write app reviews, ever! But this is an incredible app! Very useful in my daily job as a highway safety patrol operator. Everything we do is based on a mile marker with decimal, and while I know my beat well, this is great when I travel out of zone or cover for a driver on another beat. Thanks very much for developing this app and making it iPad and slide-over compatible!!
