How It Works
With thousands of locations equipped with Styku scanners, finding a place to perform your scan is simple. During your 3D whole-body scan, you stand on the turntable as it spins. A high-resolution camera takes thousands of snapshots of your body—just as safe as taking a picture with your phone. In under a minute, your scan is complete. Within minutes, your results are processed and delivered securely to the Styku app, where you can explore your body in 3D and track your progress.

I finally got the opportunity to do my first Styku body scan, and it’s truly a game-changer. The 3D body scans are incredibly accurate, and the visual models make it easy to track subtle changes in my body shape over time. As a personal trainer, I know the importance of having a reliable tool to measure my clients’ progress. The app is great because it’s seamless, extremely detailed, and user-friendly. My favorite part of the scan and app is the posture analysis. I knew I had a slight right hip shift, but it blew my mind when it showed the exact inches. It’s incredible! I can’t wait for all of my clients to try it.

Great feature that was always needed BUT…

I love the fact that I can now check on my scans with an app instead of having to go to old emails. However, the body fat % numbers are not correct. Neither are mine nor all of my clients in my facility. So I do not feel comfortable promoting the app yet to all the hundreds of my clients until that feature is fixed. Additionally, having to pay for a subscription model when we are already paying for a monthly service to use the Styku after having spent a lot of money buying the equipment that’s not optimal. They should at least include 25 -50 free subscriptions for the clients of the facility and then include an add-on where an “X” amount of clients get the features and then you can buy another package of “X” amount of clients to use the additional feature. To have to pay an extra $100 per client is ridiculous. Specially when we don’t know how accurate the numbers are if the % body fat isn’t correctly displayed. Tired of everything that you already paid for now comes with a subscription model behind it.

Hi Alex. Thanks for taking the time to send us a review. With regards to the BFP. There are rare cases where the BFP in the mobile app may not match what is reported in Styku Studio's software. It is likely your Styku Phoenix setting is set to the Basic Body Composition model, which is now considered legacy and will no longer be supported. A notice is going out shortly to help communicate why, but mainly its because the Advanced Model is far more accurate. When releasing the Mobile App, we had to make a choice about which model to use for Body Composition, and we chose the Advanced Model because of its high accuracy and validation with regards to DEXA data. To resolve this issue, simply update your settings in Styku Studio to the Advanced Model. That will ensure the Body Comp data reported in the Mobile App is the same as reported in the Desktop Software, aka, Styku Studio. In regards to the subscription. We did not intend to display a "paywall" to users when they first download and register on the app. That is a bug we are currently resolving and should have a fix for. I completely agree that is frustrating for the user, especially when they are trying to get their first scan completed. Thanks again for your feedback.
