Thank you~ what an amazing app to learn to play chess. I will definitely be going back through this multiple times to learn and practice. There is So much to learn. My husband loves chess and I want to purchase him a beautiful board for Father’s Day and I want to surprise him and learn to play. I love how you can move the pieces to practice. It would be really awesome if you added a quiz section. Example: this piece is named? Or what would be the best move in this situation. Just to learn even more but it’s also wonderful the way it is! Thank you!

This is the best way to learn the rules of chess because you can read it quickly and you can easily use it as reference while learning how to play. I wish it had a practice section but it’s straight forward to the point, fast and free, I love it.

The instructions are simple and easy to follow. The interactive board is useful for a beginner to try out the game. However, it is difficult to play against oneself. Perhaps include a board for the beginner to play against "the computer" just to try out the moves discussed in the book.

As an absolute beginner, I found this app very helpful. Most things I already knew, but those are necessary basic things that must be covered. But, the things beyond them were new to me and begin to help one think about strategy. I found this app to be extremely helpful.
