I had received paperwork for an investment to be filed with taxes unaware of a 401k i had no idea about this at all a co-worker told me to get the app and to give them a call and i did and i have been really impressed with the process and how much information is on app plus how helpful the companies customer service was i had called and was really impressed with the help and explanation and all they had taught me i really appreciate and like the idea and think everyone should offer this with benefits and as an older man i would say everyone should get this going at a young age and you wouldn’t believe by putting it into a 401k and other investments til you are old enough to retire this will impress you how much money you made and how little you added doesn’t hurt to have an employer that offers this and matching you this is wonderful and the app is well thought out and very informative thank you

The netbenefits app has improved over the years. Many functions that could only be accomplished on the website can now finally be accomplished within the app itself. But Fidelity still has a long way to go. They should get to a point where everything is in the app and easily controlled with its smooth integrated interface. The website still opens for many things and this is where additional improvements can and should be made. At least they allow many popular functions like contributions, spillover, rollovers, etc. in the app, but there is still a long way to go to get additional functions fully integrated. They seem to be working on it.

To those concerned ( I noticed others with the same concern). I am on my 4th back and forth with the removal of the ‘daily portfolio positions’ page that allowed you , with one click’ , to see the previous days performance, both % and actual dollar amount’ . Fidelity refuses to restore the function. I had to open and fund a td Ameritrade account, just to get the same info in a watchlist. Please fix asap! You removed the portfolio positions tab (again)that listed 1 line for each position and among other useful information, it listed DAILY change for each position - i need this yesterday, and please stop removing this …i have also called IBM support and they said they opened a Ticket to tech support. I noticed another complaint dated 9/30 for the same issue. I have no idea why you would keep removing one of the most useful ‘pages’ available. I would hope as a retired IBMer this request would carry some weight since Fidelity houses the extremely large IBM 401k.
