I was recently diagnosed with a condition that really necessitated a medical id bracelet. I wasn’t super happy with most of the offerings I came across. They were either extremely conspicuous, tacky and cheap looking (despite not being cheap) or just plain ugly. I was thrilled when I came across the MyID watch band sleeve. It’s discrete but still noticeable enough to serve its purpose. The best part is that it links to your online profile, so you can include as much information as you want related to your condition, your meds, your emergency contacts, and your demographics. You can also update or change that information as things change and evolve without having to replace your MyID bracelet or band. Great product.

I was recently diagnosed with a condition that really necessitated a medical id bracelet. I wasn’t super happy with most of the offerings I came across. This app does basic very well in that it is easy to log information related to conditions, allergies and medications, but it seems to miss on why people are most likely to use this and purchase MyID products. Most people that use this sort of app (like myself) have life threatening allergies, take medicines that come with warning cards (like steroids), have medical implants (I have a Spinal Cord Stimulator), or want to communicate critical information to medics - such as Do Not Resuscitate DNR.This app does not have a section for implants, does not allow you to flag that an allergy is life threatening, such as causing anaphylactic shock and allow you to flag anything more than donor status, such as DNR requests.These would be so easy to add and would make this app so much better. Instead you have to add as notes and/or highlight in notes.My guess is that one reason they do this is to make you buy more of their products, for which they do have additional tags that you can purchase with pre worded warnings for implants etc. This app seems like a means to an end of selling more products rather than being a great app. I hope the Dev reads this and considers new releases that are more than bug fixes, to continually update the functionality.

This product is amazing and it saves lives every day. I am from Mexico and at first I thought this product wouldn’t work for me since the medical condition are not translated. But this product is amazing and does in fact translate the headings. I consider this product to be revolutionary because in my ID all your info is online so you don’t have to engrave every time you get a new illness. Particularly I can say that for my story it is perfect. I have a condition that is called disautonomía and some people think that when I faint I seize. In this product I said that I didn’t seize and since then I haven’t had any problem. I highly recommend this product for your family safety and yours.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm afraid there is some confusion about our product that I'm happy to clear up. MyID profiles are free for life, including access to your profile in any situation. We do offer Plus features, but they're optional and don't limit information you can put on your profile nor access to it. As for translating in other countries: we do translate the profile headers and labels, however, text that the user inputted into their profile is not translated. We don't want to be liable to have an auto-translate misinterpret medical information. As you can imagine, that could be bad. We recommend the user enters their information in the countries native language they reside in. Hope this helps!

Med Alert bracelets are a thing of the past. Once we had to let paramedics know everything about us in 3 lines of 12 characters in 5 point font type. Now emergency responders and good Samaritan’s can have the information to save our lives. No more cheap clanky aluminum ugly bracelets or over priced bad jewelry that still doesn’t get the job done. This idea is so simple yet so brilliant. Thank you MyID.In response to some of the poor ratings for app performance: 1. The app is brilliant, easy to use and covers everything needed. 2. There are a few glitches (very few). One being some of the information entered will duplicate. Which meant for me, for a period of 3 hrs, one of my emergency contacts was listed twice. This does NOT call for a 1 star review.2A. All errors (duplicate entries) can be fixed by the user on a laptop or computer. This takes minimal effort and a commitment back to oneself. 2B. Most of not all companies will allow access to this type of a sight. This means that the minimal effort it takes to have ownership can be done in less than 3 minutes at work or on a lunch break. 3. As a T1 diabetic, sometime low sugars can cause us to act outside of ourselves and get lost. It may be an added feature to add GPS to the bracelet. This will work well with the Dexcom G6 alerts that can go to emergency contacts. 3A. For example, a low sugar reading can make a diabetic very confused. The Dexcom G6 can alert an emergency contact. Once I was low and received a call from a friend, he knew I was in trouble from our convo and I was unable to tell him where I was. If MyID adds a GPS, my contact would 1. Know that I was low and 2. Could instruct first responders where I was at. Either way, this is a 5 star app and service regardless of any poor reviews here.
