I just downloaded this App on an IPhone 15 plus which is very intuitive & no issues to use so 5 stars for the ease of the App. But…I took 10 pics without moving the same strip & results were all different. So I am giving 2 stars for accuracy. I am giving 2 stars bc on the 3rd pic it matched the back of bottle. The apps median score is 3. I feel like the app is like legacy media it is telling me something different than what my eyes are seeing when I look at the back of the bottle for results.

Coming from somebody who never tested their water, and only used chlorine and hoped for the best; this is a pretty decent product. Especially when used with the app that literally tells you what you need and don’t need to add along with the amount to add. I seen a review that said when they plug in the six colors into the app it never comes out right. That might be because the order of colors on the app aren’t the same as on the back of the container that holds the test strips. It seems like the PH square and the total hardness square are flip-flopped. Which isn’t a real big deal if you can see colors.. but if you’re colorblind, I totally get it.

I tried this app a couple years ago and decided to give it a try again since I just bought a package of test strips today. It’s a complete and total rip off. I cannot believe they continued to advertise this on their test strips bottle. The app just flat out will not work. I cannot enter my test strip information because it’s just frozen. It only shows me two out of six choices for color matching on the strip. It looks like it’s supposed to slide back-and-forth, but it doesn’t. It collected a ton of my personal information before it would let me get to the part where I could try to enter the information from the test trip. I also tried to text a picture and basically nothing happened after I sent the text. I guess now I remember why I stopped using this brand.

I have trouble distinguishing shades of some colors, so having an app like this is a huge help for me. I like the way the app allows you to keep a record of your tests. If a test is out of arrange, I like the way it gives you a recommendation of what to add and in what quantities. Be sure to set up an account and take the time to input your pool dimensions. One wish: I have a salt pool and I wish the test also gave me a salt level reading.
