We’ve been squishing a few nasty bugs! We’ve also fixed an occasional crash when opening the roster screen. Finally, we’ve improved the delete fight and result functionality in the game hotfix!

Improved Cash Boost performance and UI. Cash Boosts are now added to a global cash boost bank and can be used across all save game worlds. To apply cash boosts to your current game world, simply go to the Options menu in the main dashboard and add Cash Boosts.

Fixed crash on some devices running iOS26 when opening fight screen.

The performance issues on opening the game and during gameplay have been fixed. Additionally, the issue where the app could crash when opened without a network connection has been resolved.

To make it better and more flexible we now display XP inside a new game Wallet page which you can link to from the home page. This is to allow XP to be used across the new multiple save game worlds. Updated minimum fighter/manager relationship when signing new fighters. Newly signed fighters will now be much happier with you when signing up.
Fighter/manager relationship now increases when moving the fighter to a gym where they have improved trainer rapport.

HQ Relocation has been added. You can now move your game HQ. Depending on the country and size of your operation, you can now relocate to open up new venues. This will require a base relocation fee. Relocation is found in the Manager menu on the main dashboard. Move Gym update. The location restriction has now been moved and all gyms are available to move fighters between. Fixed bug whereby amateurs were not retiring. This will retire older fighters now between the age of 26-39 at tournament cycle end. In some long-standing games, this will potentially generate a lot of new fighters in this instance. This also fixes issues with some weight divisions not having sufficient new fighters. Fixed bug whereby signing fee was not added to a fighter’s career earnings. Fixed matchmaker screen issue for Pro Max iPhones. Fixed UI issue for fighter training on iPad native and macOS.

We’ve added colour signifiers to attribute values on the matchmaker comparison screen, and selected roster fighter rankings to the matchmaker screen. Additionally, we’ve fixed the global ranking width.

New matchmaker screens! Exclusive for Ringside subscribers! new iPad and MacOS full screen version of our new matchmaker interface has both the new opponent screen and the new fighter comparison screen on one single view. 
 New updated matchmaker comparison screen with improved comparison and, for first time, each fighter’s fight record. Improved UI with a new opponent list automatically showing inline, all improved win estimates percentages, overall ability comparison and more to help you find the best opponent for all of your roster quicker. Fight ageing now shown in the matchmaker screen comparisons making it easier to see when a fighter, however great, is reaching the end of their career: win estimate percentages and ability comparison are now factored for the effects of career ageing for the first time. Better UX with fewer clicks to make fights and shows. Double click the table to view the comparisons for easy reference. Fixed issue with drop off in fighter’s social media followers and purse values after significant loss. We’ve fixed the issue where creating a fighter’s birthplace would prevent the location from being added because there was whitespace at the end of the name. Fixed issue with Kyrgyzstan naming.

We have added a “Create a fighter” feature. This is now accessible within the WORLD menu in the dashboard. EXCLUSIVE: You can create unlimited custom fighters within the Ringside app. Thanks for your support. This feature builds on the current Add a son functionality by allowing the player to add any number of fighters to be added to the game. All custom fighters are created as rookies(0-0). A player can at present select weight, names, birth town, country, general emphasis of attributes as well as a broad indication of the fighter’s quality/overall status. Fighters will be added to the current game as unsigned fighters. There is no limit on the number of custom fighters that a player can add to a game. As with all fighters in the game, they have to await a ranking before they are scheduled to fight. 
All custom fighters are automatically followed by the game. To view followed fighters, go to the Rankings screen to view your shortlist. We welcome feedback as we develop this out further and see how players use it and make suggestions. We have consciously kept it simple but are also keen to maintain some randomisation in there to keep it interesting and the fight world unique. Fixed. Shortlisted fighters now return to the current sort when viewed in the rankings screen.

***Gym and trainer update!*** Fighter’s can now move gyms within their country of origin. To move gym. Go to the fighter’s Training screen. Full details below and on Forum and Discord server. Added a fighter/trainer rapport mechanic to the game. A stronger rapport between the fighter and trainer leads to better training effects and increased chances of attribute growth. Additionally, the better the rapport, the fewer XP points are required to increase attribute values. Conversely the poor fighter/trainer rapport leads to a slower attribute growth through training. Improved quality of attributes when creating a son. Updated the emphasis effect when creating a son. Improved trainer UI Changed background colour for rankings on matchmaker screen. Fixed issue whereby Hong Kong could not be selected as the city name when using Hong Kong as a country. **Fighter Gym Movement and trainer change** Fighters can now move gyms under the following conditions: To move gym. Go to the fighter’s Training screen and hit the Move Gym button. - If they don’t have a fight scheduled. - If the new gym is in the same country as the fighter. - If the eligible gym has available spaces to accommodate the new fighter. The rapport between fighters and trainers is crucial. Managers should prioritise giving fighters the opportunity to work with trainers they share a good rapport with. Rapport is shown (thumbs up/down icon) on the single gym screen and in text description on the training screen. In essence, a stronger rapport enhances the potential impact on a fighter’s development. This is reflected in a higher likelihood of a positive change in the fighter’s training schedule. Conversely, a better rapport between trainer and fighter reduces the XP values required to improve fighter attributes compared to those with poor rapport. While you can move any fighter, it’s important to note that making changes that the fighter and trainer disagree with can negatively affect the relationship attribute between the player and manager. The game will warn you of this but it is the player’s choice.

Fixed issue with signing fighters when the manager should be able to sign them in real life. Updated make fight UI rankings. Fixed issue when making gyms in the Congo due to the naming of the country in location files as its alternate name, Congo (Brazzaville), not Congo.

Exclusive to Ringside. You can now edit any fighter’s name. We’ve added a new leaderboard view. Simply tap the leaderboard to access the a more detailed leaderboard view and your position on it. We’ve made changes to the fight model to widen the gap in certain attributes between the top and bottom fighters in the database. This is to help counteract the increasing average game world size and thus reduce the likelihood of inferior fighters defeating superior ones.

Optimised fighter management relationship attribute to become less impacted by title loss. Fixed fighter contract renegotiations to make it easier when fighter holds belt or is highly ranked. Sign fighter approaches have now been enhanced. Fighter’s will now scrutinise managers in greater detail than ever before when deciding whether to accept a contract negotiation. The more wins, the more title wins, a good win ratio, and the number of current world champions are now the key manager statistics in determining what will entice a fighter to join your roster. Improved renew contract approach function. Manager/fighter relationship now takes a greater role when a fighter decides to renegotiate an existing contract. Fixed label issue where Cut tendency change label showed value increasing, not decreasing, when applying an XP change to the attribute. Fixed issue where fighters who have yet to fight would appear in global rankings.

Fixed bug where fighters could not be signed to some gyms.

New! Global rankings have been added to fighter, matchmaker and rankings screens. See where your fighter ranks across your fight world! Global rankings do not include fighters with no ranking. Altered the likelihood of fighters signing with managers, thereby reducing the probability of renowned fighters joining unknown or rookie managers. We’ve resolved the gameplay issue where any fighter, regardless of nationality, could sign for any gym. Now, fighters will sign for gyms based on the manager’s and gym’s status, considering the fighter’s nationality, region, and reputation. This ensures a fair steadier gameplay development.
In-tray has been renamed to news on menu. We’ve created a hot fix for fighters in weight subclasses who don’t have the weight pack installed. Additionally, we’ve fixed the vacant weight by title hot fix label.
