Critical Instabug Patch: Fix for Unexpected App Crashes

Improvements: Instabug is now properly reporting logs for the ‘shake’ feature. Sensors will now show signal strength in Settings. Fixes: Resolved a bug where you could drag the video around freely in the events screen viewer. Automations will now present a ‘Confirm’ button in the top right when toggling actions on/off. Fixed a bug in automations that was causing the ‘Delete’ button to float into the conditions area. Z-Wave door locks and garage controllers now properly show ‘Offline’ when the device is offline.

New Features New automations to support doorbell press, motion detection, and schedule. A new UI and flow will also come with this release of automations. Note: See end of page for functionality explanation. Users will receive an in app prompt when an update for the app is available. Improvements: New Z-Wave add/remove flow. Updated ‘Stay Signed In’ options to allow for one month before the application logs you out. Updated the ‘Siren’ icon to match the panel. Updated the ‘Device Health’ section for cameras/doorbells to include the ‘WiFi Link Quality’ and the 'WiFi Signal Level. Enhanced the Arm/Disarm snapshot seen in the Activity section so it can be clicked on and expanded. Live view home control will not allow you to arm stay/away if there is a system trouble. Updated support for the translator and takeover module. They are now using the correct icons, and the translator is able to be ‘Bypassed’. The microphone on the wired doorbell(XDC01) now opens/closes correctly without erroring or leaving the line open. Added a ‘Wake Up’ feature to D3 camera settings. This wakes the camera up when settings are entered for battery powered devices to ensure that settings save properly. Fixes: Forgot password now gracefully handles users that have an email address tied to multiple accounts. Fixed a bug that would cause the login page to lag after switching to a linked account and logging out. Added a ‘Cancel’ button to the Disarm screen on the ‘Security’ page. The temperature indicator on the Security page is now only clickable if you click directly on it. Increased the size of the multi-select ellipses for video events and filters. Added a ‘Maximize’ button to the portrait view of live video. Updated the camera SDK so it updates the battery percentage after the camera is completely drained. Door locks can be properly controlled on the live view home control page without receiving an ‘Oops’ error. Garage door commands are now working properly in live view home control. This section was not in sync with the actual status of the garage door before. New Automations Functionality: Each camera is allowed one motion detection automation. If you want to edit the condition, you just click on the created automation and it will drill into it. There is a delete button once you drill into it if you prefer to start over instead of editing the automation. Doorbells are allowed one motion detection and one doorbell press automation each. The functionality for doorbell press is the same as motion detection mentioned above. The new schedule functionality is listed as “Days of the week at set time” in automations. This automation is pretty straightforward, you set a time and days of the week. After those are set, you pick your action and save when you are complete. You can set up multiple automations for this rule.

Resolved caching issues that caused problems with arming, disarming, and status updates, video event playback along with sporadic 'Oops' errors, making it difficult for users to navigate the app. 2. We fixed a bug in video settings so motion detection can be toggled on/off and 'Disarmed' can be toggled on/off. 3. Fixed several bugs on the password reset process. - Resolved an issue that would lock the user on the verification screen if they did not enter the correct verification code. The user can now try again if they enter the code incorrectly instead of having to start the process over. - Resolved an issue where users would see the message "Service is temporarily unavailable for your account" after a user puts in their verification code.

Improvements: Z-Wave add/remove functionality has been greatly improved. You can now also add/remove devices within the same flow. Arm/Disarm response has been greatly improved. Adding a confirmation when creating a new user account to let the user know the account was created successfully. Improved the Thermostat add process. Updated the user experience when resetting a password. If the current user resets their password, they will be logged out. If they reset another users password, they will not be logged out anymore. Users should not see phantom Z-Wave devices anymore. Z-Wave notification functionality has been greatly improved. Sensor bypass is only available when the system is disarmed now. Updated type ‘User’ settings to restrict actions they should not have access to. Fixes: Fixed a bug that was causing the application to crash when opening a video related push notification. Fixed a bug that was cutting off the timestamp on events when you played them back. Fixed a bug that was causing the application to crash upon login. Thumbnails are now seen on press/motion push notifications. Automation toggles are now working correctly. Occasionally, hitting a toggle for one automation would change another. Camera live view is now working smoothly. Fixed a bug that was showing ‘arm’ instead of ‘disarm’ on live view controls when the panel is in alarm. The Ecolink Siren now shows the correct options on the control page. Fixed a bug that was causing errors on the account linking page when you attempted to do a pull down to refresh. Doorbell/motion push notifications are now correctly redirecting to the video page. Fixed a bug that was causing the automations screen to load placeholders only. Fixed aspect ratio issues on camera live view. Motion detection settings are now seen for the outdoor D3 camera(XOC01). Filters now properly clear on the video events page. Fixed a bug that was allowing users to attempt to dim with water control devices.

Improvements: Video events now go off the panel time and not the phones time. Locks are now categorized correctly in automations. Dimmers are now all showing up and categorized properly. The microphone for the wireless camera and doorbell can now be disabled/enabled in settings. All enrolled thermostats are now showing up in climate section. All enrolled locks are now showing up on the control page. Added a search feature to the accounts page. This feature allows you to search all of your accounts instead of scrolling through the list. The thermostat add process properly redirects users to the climate page after completion. Improved the reliability of the SSE communication process. This will improve the reliability of device updates. This also improves the add/delete process for Z-Wave. Improved the add flow language for thermostats to help customers troubleshoot if there are any issues. Fixes: Tamper button is now visible for smoke devices. ‘View System Messages’ now appears for smoke devices. Fixed a bug inside Dealer Activation that was not allowing an emails to be used. Automations now shows a device count next to the control choice. Kami/Yi thumbnails now show up correctly. Fixed a bug that was causing the application to get locked on arming. Fixed a bug that did not allow you to live view a camera after you just left live view of another camera. Fixed the user login icon in activity. Fixed a bug that was causing the application to crash if you hit the ‘Home Control’ button from live video. Fixed a bug that was causing the garage door status to show Locked/Unlocked instead of Close/Open. Fixed a bug that wasn’t letting you launch camera live view right after closing it. New Features: Added ‘Wired Mode’ as a power option for battery powered doorbell and camera. This is meant to be used when the device is connected to a solar charger. Improvements: We updated the bypass functionality to show all (tamper, loss of supervision, in alarm, open) sensor troubles. The previous functionality only showed open sensors. Added water sensors to the notifications section. Push notifications now work for multiple accounts at once. Previously, you would only receive push notifications for the last account you logged into. Updated the logic behind deleted videos across devices. Devices should now sync properly and not show videos that were deleted from one device on another device. Removed the ‘static controller’ from the control section. This is the z-wave module inside the panel and does not need to be seen by the end user. Updated the settings section of the cameras/doorbells to allow the user to reboot their devices. Removed rooms from the mobile application until it is functioning correctly. Fixes: Fixed a bug that would occasionally not let you switch to a linked account. Fixed a bug in the ‘Disarm panel using Face ID’ logic that would assume the pin code was the same for multiple accounts. Fixed an animation bug in ‘live view home control’ that cut off the arming animation. Fixed a bug that caused the camera order to reset when switching between accounts Fixed a bug that required you to refresh the security page in order to see bypass/unbypass updates. Fixed a bug in automations that was causing the thermostat section to inaccurately reflect the temperature. Disarm by Face ID only is available when the option is turned on now. Disarm by Face ID automatically detects your face now and does not require extra input. Fixed a bug that would occasionally show “Service is temporarily unavailable” when attempting to switch to a linked account. When linking a secondary account, the application now redirects to that account. Fixed a bug that would show sections in notifications even if a user does not have any of those devices. Fixed a bug that would not allow you to unlink accounts from the manage accounts screen. Fixed a bug that would not allow you to enable/disable the microphone from camera settings. Fixed a bug that was causing the thermostat name to not show up in automations. Fixed a bug that was causing video events to not highlight the radio button when clicked.

New Features: DSK support for Z-Wave devices. You can now input the DSK through the mobile application when adding the Z-wave device. Improvements: Updated the Night Mode button to stand out more. Updated the activity log to separate out alarm types correctly. Only burglary, water, flood, smoke, duress, and panic alarms will show up in red now. New Features: Granular automations is now available. This will give users the ability to separate automations actions for each supported device they have connected to their XP02 panel. Sunrise and Sunset automations to give users the ability to automate actions for their devices during these times. Night mode support has been added for Arm Stay. If enabled, this will bypass any alarm delays and put the system into alarm immediately. Improvements: Added descriptions to WiFi link quality for cameras so non technical users have a good idea of the signal strength. Updated lock rules so the application should correctly reflect lock/unlock. Added a walk through guide for automations. Fixes: Added a confirmation message to the unlink accounts section. Fixed a bug that was causing video events to duplicate when switching accounts. Fixed a bug that was causing the accounts view to display incorrectly after switching accounts.
