Close, but not quite

I applaud and vision for the goal of this project! There's just a few minor problems,… when the concept was introduced, the voices were much more robust, those seem to have degraded. Also, there is no textual context invoice mode, switching to text mode is a hole brand new instance, and there is no history to review, or sustained memory, or the ability to upload images/Documents for analysis. These things are key for any basic AI assistant. One other detractor, I beta tested this app, and I receive emails from Mike at envision stating that I have Ally pro, however my app is limited to the free tier plan with no restore subscription button, even though I am logged in with my Pro account. If I'm not a pro user, fine, but don't send me emails stating "Welcome to Ally Pro", at least I'll get to keep the personas I created from the beta. I understand trying to offset costs, but paying for unlimited voice chat, an additional Ally personalities, seems silly when I can get that for free on any other AI platform.

ABetterMan.
There are some features that this app does not have. That being said for a visually impaired user this is the most helpful and convenient artificial intelligence app I have used. This app was recommended to me by a friend who beta tested it, and I have to say all things considered I am very happy with it. Again, it has its limitations, but it has helped me out immensely. Thank you to the developers.

I don't use it all that often, but when I do, I really love this app. I love that there are four personalities to choose from, and if desired, the user could create their own customized personality. I don't really have the skills to do that, and I really enjoy the stock personality options. The voices are a bit lacking; wish that they'd have the 11 labs voices like they did during the beta, and more variety of voices, but I'm happy with the app as it is, especially while it's free. I wouldn't pay for the current voice options, though.

Introducing Document Guidance — a brand new way to scan documents with Ally. When you start a scan, Ally now provides real-time spoken instructions to help you position your phone correctly (e.g., move left, move right, hold steady). Once all edges of your document are visible, Ally automatically snaps the picture for you. You can always override Document Guidance and take a photo manually using the manual capture button. Document Guidance works best with documents on flat surfaces or books folded to show one page at a time. Document Guidance is enabled by default and can be toggled off in Settings. Note: Document Guidance is currently available in the Ally app only and is not yet supported on Envision Glasses or Ally Solos Glasses. This update also includes various UX improvements and translation fixes for a smoother experience across all supported languages.
