I’ve been following The Daily Pump since it was on Playbook, and what a breakthrough moving to its own platform! I can tell that this app was growth with customization that was needed to expand on what Julian wants out of this app! And with so much more variety than Playbook could offer! I’ve been training on and off with Julian since 2022, and this is by far the best platform I’ve used! I do have one suggestion for the app..when the sound toggle is on in the settings, it cuts out the music when you start using the timer. Maybe see about getting that bug fixed??But that has no effect in the 5 Star review that this app deserves!

It’s Nice but Still Not as Good as the old App

I’m all for change but good change. You have provided me with life changing workouts and I have been at this since I was 16 and I’m nearly 55 now. I love how you include substitutions in case I don’t have the necessary equipment or machines and it looks very nice but is there a way where if I don’t want to add what weight I do and only reps it a setting that keeps it there. I hate having to change it every single exercise unless it’s a body weight such as an ab routine. That’s my biggest complaint right now. I can do without the comments and music from the old app unless it’s a playlist you share with us and I’ve liked that in the past. You continue to grind and always improve. Not going anywhere as I live your workouts, supplants and apparel and my physique has changed so much the last 7 years, it looks like yours now and there’s a reason for that. Again, please make adding the weight optional and an option to remove it entirely and not exercise by exercise. Other than that, thank you so much!

This app will give you a strict schedule to abide to, or at the very least give you an idea of what you need to be doing for an hour straight. It’s even got an option to cut all the workouts down to a lower set count if you need to lift in a hurry. 10/10 app, only regret was not getting it sooner.

Time to improve the app

Long time fan of Julian and been following since the days I had to screenshot the workouts online… the old Playbook app worked perfectly. “If it aint broke dont fix it” is what comes to mind. I’ll keep subscribing because theres nothing else like this material out there and Julian is the man. But it’s time to get the app as close to the old one as possible! Main thing I’d suggest is letting us use the app while the timer is running. Also have an easier way to get the timer going. Takes 3 clicks now. Old app would start it as soon as you finished a set. These details go a long way in the gym!
