They created a new app that looks relatively the same, not sure if they had to build a new one on a different internal platform or what. But it struggles to work 90% of the time, you can’t actually log in because it just permanently loads. I usually have to open and close it a few times before it will actually work- which at that point it’s faster for me to just go to the website instead.

When the app first came out it was great, after two weeks I can’t get past the login as it refuses to load now. I’ve tried loading it in multiple different areas to make sure it wasn’t just one WiFi, but no it doesn’t matter where I am at. This is very frustrating as a college student, I don’t live at home and get paper checks from work so I can’t even put that money in without having to find the time to drive home while the bank is still open, which usually means missing class.

They go and shut down the old app. And don’t tell the customer first off, so I had to find out after calling customer service because the old app won’t work at all anymore and then they roll out a new app that is awful. Why would you try and fix something that isn’t broken to begin with. You had a great product and then rolled out a new app that I’m convinced wasn’t even beta tested before putting it out to the public. I have to turn my phone sideways and move with my fingers side to side to see my individual transactions.

I posted a review a few months ago and have seen no changes. I need to view my app as I regularly do transfers. It’s very hit or miss if I can log in and I can’t always call the bank to do a transfer. Please fix this asap. Never had any issues with alerus before this and it’s really frustrating. I also can’t change when automatic text messages send so I can view my balance. I like it to be at the end of the day so I can transfer money so I don’t get charged a fee if I’m negative.
