LocationLock “locks” your phone in place and sounds a loud alarm if it’s unplugged or moved. It’s perfect for charging in public, stepping away at the gym, study halls and exams, quick stops, or keeping a stroller/bag in sight. All protection runs on-device and works offline.
What LocationLock does
- Alarm on charging changes – Get an instant alert if the cable is unplugged or it’s lifted off a wireless charger. Optional auto-arm while charging.
- Motion detection – Uses the gyroscope to detect rotation/movement with adjustable sensitivity.
- Intruder snapshot – Automatically take a photo with the front or back camera when the alarm triggers and save it to Photos (your choice).
- Biometrics – Optionally require Face ID / Touch ID to unlock.
- Foreground protection – (Optional) trigger a siren if the app is sent to the background.
- Countdown – Set a short delay before arming so you can put the phone down.
- Max-volume alarm – Play at full volume with multiple built-in sounds or a Siri voice message.
- Notifications – Receive a local alert whenever the alarm triggers.
Apple Watch companion
Arm/disarm the iPhone alarm, check status at a glance, and receive movement alerts on your wrist. Works over Bluetooth or peer-to-peer Wi-Fi.
