1. Does not work in Dark Mode 2. If you are viewing a message in portrait mode and happen to turn your phone to landscape the app locks up. However, you can view the messages in landscape but only if you turn your phone to landscape prior to going into the message from a user. Anotherwords ..Tuen it to landscape while viewing the screen with the list of users you are messaging. So if you happen to be viewing a message and you happen to pull your phone away from you face do do whatever, when you bring it back up to continue reading your message, you’ve inadvertently turned your phone. So now it locks up and you have to press the power button to lock the phone and reopen the app. Frustrating.

We have several hundred providers using the app. Very pleased to report Startel has solved the issues that were reported by other users.

This application was forced down our practice's throat by our paging service. It seems that the interface was designed by beginner programmers, and not real-world tested. Using iPhone 6 with iOS 9.2. They finally fixed the problem with the input field, but now the message list gets all compressed and truncated unless you keep re-opening the list. Honestly, how hard can it be to identify and troubleshoot the simplest of interface errors? Furthermore, the system continues to be unreliable with messages lost for hours, then inexplicably showing up much later. I try to send confirmation messages back to the service to let them know I got a message, but they don't get the confirmation message about 1/3 of the time. It's hard to run a practice in such a fashion. It's really getting bad enough that we may have to drop our paging service to get away from this application. This app developer clearly has no way of testing their own abomination of an app.

The old version of this app was fine. Naturally the company followed the old adage, if it ain’t broke, break it. There are at least 2 terrible features:1) The number featured on the app icon when looking at the phone's home screen used to equal the number of new messages you have. Now, this number will routinely say 4 or 5, when there is only 1 message. Thus, when you look at the app icon, you think there are multiple messages waiting when there is only 1. This is obviously confusing.2) The old app defaulted to an overview screen in which all of the messages were listed in a short form with a blue dot next to the unread messages. This screen has been eliminated and replaced with a truly god-awful interface that I can't even really figure out.I just emailed the company. Apparently my messaging service has had innumerable complaints. Hopefully the company will figure this out and make necessary changes.
