New favorite sports app! This is a must-have if you’re a sports fan. Every article is professional written, but they are also an easy read. Even though the app is based around rumors, every article is cited with sources to that rumor, thus making everything on here credible. Also, I can exit out of the app and come back 10 minutes later and almost always have 1 to 5 new stories to read. My only feedback is mostly based around the comments. I love having open discussions with the TradeRumors community on articles. But I do wish that there was the option to delete or edit comments, since sometimes you forget to fix grammar or a number/stat you miswrote. I also wish there was a way to be notified if someone replied to one of your comments. You guys are posting constantly (which is just awesome) but sometimes I post a comment and want to see if someone responds but then it gets lost from the wave of new articles or I forget about it. Also maybe having a way for users to flag comments for you guys to review/take down? I’ve only seen one comment that was extremely ignorant, but just thought it could be considered (since I’m just throwing out ideas). One final thought is maybe creating a way for each user to create a profile of some sort, even if it’s very basic. That way we can see what teams certain users/comments support, or even more background about who we are chatting with.Again great app and website, appreciate all you do! Thanks for reading:)
Love this app

Have used this app for a long time. Used it back before it was just Trade Rumors, back when the sports were separate and it MLB Trade Rumors or NFL Trade Rumors, actually back before they even had the app and I had to just save the website to my Home Screen. They are a reliable source for sports news, they do post rumors but it’s always by a reliable source and I like their takes on different situations. Usually the other people in the comments are respectful as well, usually lol, but as times change and these kids now a days just love to talk trash you cant escape the occasional trash talking or trolling on there but for the most part it’s a good community and is fun to talk sports with other fans in the comments. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for app to get news and or rumors.
Very best baseball and hockey news source

The depth of the articles provides details nobody else offers: contract details, player histories, and other context. MLBTR has been my favorite sports news app since I started using it. I subscribed as well. The affiliated podcast is usually worthwhile though inconsistent. The regular host brings nothing to the table, but the interviews with a primary owner, I think it's Tony, are always great! I disagree adamantly with the negative comments a few have made. Keep up the good work here. Oh, and for blind fans who use screen reader technology, MLBTR is the ONLY sports app that is 100 percent accessible and complies with standards for web content accessibility! Thanks for the inclusive design!

The app is usually behind other news source and can be confusing for team feeds. It’s not uncommon to have to dig through wordy report to get to the port that has something to do with your team’s place within the multiple team rumors that are supposedly written and placed into your team feed. The general new for all other teams are also old news. Another issue is feature-based. Once you read an article the feed pictures gray out to show the you have already read the article. Nifty; however, the same article will reset and become active every time someone adds a comment or response to the article. The comments are pro writers- just fans, of which none possess real information. My advice to the app developers: get real writer and get the information quickly. When Yahoo and Bing and other site beat the “Rumor” site to the punch, it makes me just go to the other sites instead of this aggregated news site.
- Completely rebuilt and modernized interface, so that we can deliver new features and system integrations that we haven’t been able to before, and do so quickly.
- Redesigned comment threads with improvements for composing and replying to comments.
- Quick search for a team or player with the ability to read those feeds without adding them to your saved feeds. Great for quickly looking up things you might care about occasionally without clogging up your primary reading.
- Trade Rumors Front Office content fully available within the app. Just go to the Settings icon in the upper right and log in.
