So many times I have tried to conquer the first mountain, but this time is different because I took a break to try it all on my own. I put in the effort and research to learn what works for me by juggling apps and spreadsheets. But the answer was right here all along, waiting for ME to be ready. OCD would not allow me to just do someone’s else’s program, and ADHD made it hard to stick to any routine on my own. This just works. I press play, and its like a Pavlovian response. I had to figure out first on my own what I wanted, then add it to the routines. These were all things I had been tracking and struggling to do, and this just guides me through what I have chosen so that I follow through. The focus aspect for ADHD (and even PTSD) cannot be overstated. The calming ambient music, the full screen tasks, the simple check marks to move on to the next one and the satisfying noises they make allow me to calmly be in the moment. If I am distracted, the music is still playing. The task remains on my screen. I don’t forget! My two cents for anyone starting this app for the first time is to take it slowly, actually follow the program. If you’re OCD like me and already have fifteen tasks you do every morning, just add them and follow your own path. Its finally working for me not only because I am ready, but because its SIMPLE. It replaces a few apps for me and, again, the focus aspect cannot be overstated. It just immerses you in the moment.
It's wonderful to hear how the app has become a supportive tool in managing routines and focus, especially with OCD and ADHD challenges. The simplicity and immersive experience seem to have made a significant difference for you. We're thrilled it's working so well in your journey. The Fabulous Member Care team.
