² Branch is not a bank. Banking services are provided by Lead Bank, Member FDIC. FDIC insurance only applies for eligible accounts should the bank holding your funds fail. The Instacart Shopper Rewards Card, powered by Branch, is a Mastercard business debit card issued by Lead Bank, pursuant to a license from Mastercard and may be used everywhere Mastercard debit cards are accepted.
³ Most payouts take a few minutes, but some may be subject to delays. Instacart may elect to charge a fee for Shopper Rewards Card payouts at any time, subject to notice.
⁴ Cash back on eligible gas purchases at the pump using the Shopper Rewards Card as payment method. Must select Credit or Bypass PIN to receive cash back for qualifying purchases. Selecting Debit or entering your PIN number will disqualify your purchase from earning cash back. Must pay at pump; in-store transactions may not be eligible. Base Cash back benefit is 3% for gas purchases and EV charging for Diamond Cart shoppers, and 1% for all other shoppers. Total cash back limited to $100 per month. Card benefits are subject to meeting eligibility criteria, which may include your Cart Star status, Instacart shopper account standing, and maintaining a Shopper Rewards Card account. Card benefits may be subject to change. Instacart or Branch may terminate, suspend or modify the rewards program, in whole or in part, at any time upon notice to you, subject to applicable law.
⁵ You may have the option to earn additional cash back on eligible gas purchases with your Shopper Rewards Card at merchants who are part of the Branch x Mastercard Easy Savings program. Mastercard Easy Savings may not be available in all locations. For more information, visit Branch’s website.
⁶ Your first 8 ATM transactions per month at ATMs in the Allpoint Network are free. After that, a $3.50 fee will apply to Allpoint ATM transactions until the next month. All withdrawals from ATM’s outside the Allpoint Network will be subject to fees established by the ATM owner.
Made an account, shortly after making it I broke my phone and had to get a new one. Couldn’t access my old number or email. After about 1 or 2 weeks of back and forth with support, I was able to log back in. With how the other apps have been treating me in this situation, this app has actually been very helpful and easy to follow (in terms of support assistance). Will update if things change or if the app worsens or gets better. I will say, $1.50 to withdraw on instacart is crazy, being able to do it for free here is pretty nice though.

This app is terrible I don’t know why they chose branch I don’t see myself really using this app for my earnings for the simple reason that it is not fully compatible with Apple Pay!!! I like to send and receive money thru Apple Pay and this card doesn’t allow you to do that it only works for tap to pay and I need my debit cards to do more than that!!! There is a lot of fees associated with branch banking apps that are unnecessary it’s almost as if you you have to pay to use this service for instance you are only allowed 8 free atm withdrawals a month then after that you are charged a fee to withdraw your own money from an atm that is in the network WTH and what is the point of using this card ? They need to allow unlimited free ATM withdrawals within the network and allow money to be transferred to and from th card thru Apple Pay until then I’ll pass. I can’t even Apple Pay my kids lunch money anymore with this card
Not what I expected it to be

I do like the card design and I do like the rewards cash back feature, although at times it doesn’t recognize gas charges as such and you don’t get the rewards even though that is a main selling point of the card. Also the fees for this card to transfer your money elsewhere are crazy high, the 50cent transfer fee from the old method seems like a gift compared to this. This card also doesn’t play well or is compatible with any other financial institution including PayPal so you can’t try to transfer your money for free using a back end way, which I don’t understand because the uber pro card is also from branch and it doesn’t have all these restrictions. Overall not impressed with this card the way Instacart promoted it to be

Yup, this is exactly what Instacart needed to provide to shoppers. Comparing to Covid time, none of the features of accessing your money right away and ability to use as its own ACH/Debit, this is an evolution. Also! If you are in a metro area and you have several HyVee’s around you, a reminder they’ve also labeled and sectioned every item you can think of and the Shopper app reflects it. I’ve done (2) 10+ orders in 5 min each, the gold is here everyone!Gratitude can’t cover how happy I am with these significant operation updates, but also to make life easier for everyone who takes on shopping groceries for a side hustle.🔥🙌🏼💯
