to whom it may concernOn multiple occasions, I have entered different locations without having my cell phone to be able to use discounting that is applied. I am aware that entering my phone number at the point of sale should apply the same discounts because my phone number is tied into my apps of reward. Unfortunately, this is not the case for pumping gas, or receiving discounts on items, such as beverages from the fountain, although the modest $.30 difference( large beverage drink in this example) most people would scoff at for me, it is the principle of the advertisement that coincides with the use of the app. I was told on more than one occasion that it was the computers. Obviously, I am not blaming the rep/cashier at the point of sale. However, once the difference has been acknowledged that the discount did not apply, I do think that the right thing to do is to correct the error at the point of sale, instead of overcharging, shrugging your shoulders and asking if i wanted to continue with transactions. I hope this message falls on the correct set of ears and it is used for education and possibly correcting the computer errors so reps don’t have to give a customer A DUMB look and not be able to problem solve.

Visited this store today as I always do. One of the worst I’ve been in. Told them they were out of Dr Z pepper Root beer an Diet Coke to return 5 hours later that they new about it but weren’t sure they had anymore. Also came here a few weeks ago wearing a fitted dress I had to leave store to get my phone for payment and when they didn’t have 2 out of the two products I was looking for I left to basically be accused of stealing a drink Really?? I asked the lady where she thought I would be hiding it and the time b 4 that using my ebt card buying cold and hot drinks I paid cold first and she gave me the balance a charge for large coffe I grab my cold drinks leaving my friend to pay for his coffee and five minutes later he comes out saying I didn’t pay for my drinks so I checked my friendly little app at hand to see that the charge had been processed meanwhile holding up the line making it seem like once again I stole something out front of all theses customers sheProceeds to tell me that the cashier had voided the whole order and wanted to re-charge me for the beverages it was at that point in time I said she could keep her beverages and that she needed to reimburse me for the original order how embarrassing and humiliating can one store make a person feel one more time and my thoughts are going to be going in a different direction shame on theses employees they have no respect for the people paying their paycheck

The customer service on the app is pretty awful, I received a text message from 7/11 stating a free drink was available to be redeemed, so I click the link in attempt to redeem the free drink, only for it to say that the drink was already redeemed. Not only that but when I clicked “See Deal” on the link, it took me to the App Store to open the 7/11 app and so I did. But to my surprise there was NO DEAL that would pop up on my screen indicating the free drink, so after that I looked at every deal to see if it was there but it wasn’t. So shortly after that I went to the store in person just for them to tell me I need to purchase items to receive points and to use those points to get a “free” drink which is completely stupid because they don’t seem to understand that I’m supposed to get a drink for free and that’s it. If the app is going to send me deals over text that I CANT REDEEM then why send me the message? Also, after going to the store in person and getting turned down for a free drink, I go to the customer support on the app and explained the whole situation to a representative and they told me to give them my email so they could refer this information to the “customer relations department” in which they say that they can assist better with this, they told me I’d receive a response in regards to this within 24 hours, but guess what? I never received a response. Customer service at its finest, no?

The App Doesn’t Track Rewards

I started using the app a few weeks ago. There is a promotion that states when you purchase six coffees you get a seventh free. The app has not been tracking my purchases as c I but a coffee nearly every day. Ten or more coffees later I ask in the store about the promotion. I’m told to call customer service. I can customer service and they add rewards to my account after noticing I’ve purchased numerous coffees through the app. They don’t immediately escalate but tell me if it happens again to call back to escalate but I’ll need receipts or screenshots of my purchases. I ask why would I need receipts or screenshots if I’m purchasing through the 7/11 app. They keep saying I’ll need that and they speak real slow as if I don’t understand English (mind you they’re the one with the foreign accent). I tell the rep I understood what they said it is just what they said makes no sense. All in all, they escalate and had me take a screenshot of the Rewards section. I still don’t know why as they never ask for the screenshot lol. This was a very difficult process for an issue with the company’s app. Figured it would be an easy fix. I think I’m just go to my favorite gas station for coffee now lol.
