Bad user case testing: “Everyone has a phone” NOT!!!

This app does not permit you to alter your stored profile. The folks at the senior living facility (SLF) don’t know how to change the name associated with a mobile number.

My wife helped our young child sign in at a SLF. She had to put in a phone number, so she used her phone number and the child’s name. Later, she attempted to sign herself in, but because she used her phone number to sign our child in, the badge always prints with our child’s name for both of them.

There is no way to change this name.

I installed the app to try to see if it would permit the profile data to be changed. It does not.

How do you use the AccuShield system with people who don’t carry phones or families with young children? Think about it.

Frustrating

My in-laws are in one facility and this app has recognized it with no issue for a couple of years, my parents just moved into a different facility and we cannot get it to recognize the second facility on my phone. My brother had no issues with my parents facility as a new user. Seems to be an issue when needing multiple facilities.

Helps Prevent Avoidable Exposure!

This app is literally a life saver. It arms providers with a tool that not only helps eliminate avoidable exposure to residents and staff, but also gathers documents and data that can be used to support regulatory compliance, care management, and so much more.

Very happy with Accushield in the communities we serve.
