We also provide any consumer with the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge health research.

"My sister told me about it, and it seemed too good to be true at first. But when she said that she had already received $20, I signed up. It was so easy and a monetary motivation really encouraged me to get up and get moving."- Estella

“I enjoy having Achievement here to motivate me. I have had back problems for many years. Walking is one of the only ways I keep my back problems under control since the more you move the looser your back becomes and helps blood flow to heal your back. When I have the benefit of making money from keeping myself healthy, I go just a little longer each day." --Kelli C

”Achievement, which is a division of Evidation Health, helps users integrate a variety of wearable trackers, but in addition to using quantitative data pulled from said trackers, they also posed more qualitative questions of their user base for the purposes of this research. “ --Brit & Co

Great app, but be sure to learn specifics on how it works.

I’m not deducting a star because it was due to user error, but to get the ONE thing I dislike out of the way first - I’ve been using this app since September 2017 and have FINALLY earned my first award. It took such a long time because I thought this app was using the info from my Fitbit app but it turns out that I have to sync my Fitbit daily or I miss out on the steps earned that day - I usually update it 1-2x a week while I charge my Fitbit. I have Apple Health connected as a backup (which is where a majority of my points have come from), but it’s not accurate (I assume because I don’t own an Apple Watch) so it only registers between 1,000-3,000 steps a day when, at least according to Fitbit, I walk over 10K steps daily. 😔 It’s very frustrating to realize just how many Achievement Points I’ve missed out on these past 9 months 😔

That being said, this app encourages me to exercise more often and to push myself further. Achievement sends weekly points updates via email, and every 10K points can be redeemed for $10 cash through PayPal or RocketMoney. I really love that they do this instead of offering gift cards - I hate being restricted to one store. They also offer additional ways to earn points through surveys and studies. Overall a fantastic app, just make sure you understand all the details to gain the most benefit from it. ♥️

So easy to make a little xtra $

I love being a member of Achievement! I just created my account and synced my Fitbit. Once that is done just go about your normal daily routine and you earn points for steps. I do login to the app once or twice a week to answer super quick and easy questions to earn extra points! I have also been asked to do a longer survey for more points. I have cashed out 7 or 8 times ($10) which is put into my PayPal account within 3-5 business days a couple of times it was more like 2 days!

I then lost my Fitbit and thought I was going to have trouble adding my new device but I couldn't have been more wrong. I now use a Garmin Tracker and it works just as well. You can even sync with My fitness pal and several other apps and devices.

This is really one of the easiest ways to earn a little extra money once or twice a month depending on how active you are. You could even earn quicker. I would highly recommend this app to anyone!

WCAG accessible, still needs work with accuracy

I really wanted to give this app more stars. I’ve had this app for over a year. Pros:
For the most part, it is screen reader accessible. That means, the app is WCAG compliant. It’s not perfect but it’s much better than most of the pay for walking types of apps. It can sync with many apps and that is a good thing.
Here is a big huge con, though. And this is why I gave it three stars. Even though it syncs with the iPhone your smart phone or Fitbit, it always shows a different step counter. For example: one day I walked 8352 steps according to Fitbit. But somehow the achievement app only recorded 7000. Yesterday I walked to thousand 365 steps. Achievement only says I walked 21 I think the closer I get to the $10 mark, the less points the app is giving me for my exercises and I don’t understand that. It does give you six points for logging water and six points for eating food and apparently only four points for sleeping. That helps. Still, it is definitely misleading. End it doesn’t record these all of the time. I logged into my Fitbit and even though it is always thinking with my Fitbit, it doesn’t record them. And if I’m out of range or something and I login to my Fitbit and log my water intake or something, if achievement doesn’t sync with it on time within a certain timeframe, I don’t get the points either like I said, it is better than any of the other apps that I have tried. But it definitely needs improvement
