Alfa Romeo‪®‬ 4+

I’ve had Jaguar and Volvo and their respective apps tell you that the car engine started and is on. You can also set the time for how long you want the car to stay on. Also the interior temperature. This Alpha app doesn’t do any of that. Wish that it could.

I do appreciate the high-tech features of this app. Valet mode, geo-fencing it’s all very nice.

One feature that makes it not so great is the remote start.

If I get an error on the remote start, I get a notification with a list of possible issues.

It should specifically address what is causing the remote start not to work.

Is it signal? Is it the fact that the doors are unlocked? There’s about 15 possibilities that are listed and it becomes a cat and mouse game to figure out what’s happening.

I’ve also had issues where it will not start up at all even if all conditions are met and I have to use the key.

I want to use remote start to keep the car healthy while I’m away. So the car is in a garage and it’s not very simple for me to fly there to start it.

I purchased the car thinking these features would help make my life easier, and that has only been partly the case.

Please address this and I’ll be happy to update the app to 5 stars.

Been an Alfa Romeo owner for about 8 months now. Upon purchasing the car I was confused on two apps I needed to download. Seemed that this one was most effective for the car and had more reviews. I was told the car history still needed to process on the app when first signing up. It’s been 8 months I still have no access to any features on the app for my car. Including remote start, service history or any other feature sponsored and shown on the advertisement for this app. Truly a bad experience for a car that a decently considerable price.

Please download and login with the same login credentials from your Alfa Connect app. You must have an active subscription and a connected vehicle to utilize most mobile app features.
