Through all my years of playing for a band, I’ve had to pick up a wide variety of instruments in order to fill in a few spots. A friend suggested this to me and I am certainly glad he did! I play the Banjo, guitar, mandolin, piano, bass guitar and the ukulele - and this tuner works perfectly for each and every one, including the bass! I’ve owned an array of different tuners and brands, but none of them work as accurately as this app. It’s incredibly nice to have this good of a tuner in your pocket at all times. If you’re a musician, this is the one. The free version suited me just fine but it was just so good that I finally decided to buy the full version to show some support for the developer. I give this a definite thumbs up 👍

The reaction speed of this tuner is great. Mainly because I can see visually the notes that I’m playing in real time. That way when I am improvising and composing something that sounds good to me and not sure exactly what notes and playing, I can understand the chord structure and melodies for the future. I don’t read music so this helps me for notation and communication with other musicians. It also helps me learn my instruments and my tunings better This is a very handy tool. My only concern is that the developer is not staying up-to-date and keeping up to date with the new iOS’.It would also be nice to know what privacy details are considered in this app.

I have been using this app to tune my hammered Dulcimer for years now, and it has basically replaced the hardware tuners I would bring along with me and inevitably run out of battery with. Tonight, I sat down to tune my Dulcimer again, and imagine my surprise when I realize the app functioned in portrait mode! Finally, I can keep track of time wow tuning an instrument that usually takes a half hour to go through! The new pitch graph is a very welcome addition as well, because I can track the fluctuations in pitch and get a better idea of where the string settles. Thanks, developers! I now have even more reason to enjoy the app I picked as my standard.

I’m a pianist who lives in a rural area. Piano technicians in our area don’t exist, thus I was forced to learn how to tune my own piano. I have been playing piano since age 3 or 4 thus am accomplished. Was unsure of which app to get for my iPad including some that cost hundreds of dollars. “Pano Tuner” was very inexpensive but does the job… better than expected. I’ve been able to tune all 88 keys without making huge computer adjustments. I’ve been able to tune my piano successfully and my Rach 2 sounds great again!
A quick follow-up to last week's update: tuning the lowest piano keys is precise and responsive again — the new note-tracking logic could briefly misread deep bass strings as they faded. Thanks for the sharp reports, and thanks for tuning with us!
