Your favorite neighborhood Applebee’s is now available right at your fingertips! This new app offers guests personalized ordering experiences and higher levels of customization. Guests will be able to seamlessly interact with our menu and enjoy their meals via Carside To Go, Delivery, and/or in-restaurant pickup. Key features of this new app include:
• Personalized ordering: Guests will be able to create and save their favorite orders, as well as receive personalized recommendations based on their previous order history and saved preferences.
• Higher levels of customization: Guests will be able to customize their orders to their liking, with more options than ever before!
• Seamless integration with Applebee’s Carside To Go and Delivery: Guests will be able to place their orders through this app and enjoy the convenience of pickup with Carside To Go, or have their order delivered to their door.

The app made it easy and convenient. I love how easily I could customize the sides/sauces. As someone who has never worked in the restaurant/food industry but has worked in the sales/retail/customer service industry for over 20 years I understand the importance of both client satisfaction as well as upselling/adding on higher margin items (such as waffle fries for an additional $2.49). While on this order I didn’t do any “add ons” or “upgrades” I definitely would in the future. Love that I have that option. In all honesty I feel that the price was very reasonable to feed 4 fully grown adults (and that’s including third party delivery and an added on 15% gratuity). As a consumer I would do more “impulse ordering” or whatever buzz word you use in the restaurant industry if you sent me text messages with offers (way better than email) and I would be most prone to act with “free appetizers with order of entree/$25 or more” “BOGO entrees” or free delivery on orders $25 or more. Twice a week. No more. Then it gets annoying.
Every Applebees allows different substitutions?
We order from Applebees via the app once or twice a month. We recently moved 30 minutes from our last home. At the last Applebees, we could request “no croutons” on our salads (have to because of allergy), but at the new place the app doesn’t offer a way to request no croutons. There are other issues with not being able to customize food at one store versus another. After calling the stores in question, they both say the app is a different entity and controls what can be requested at each store - not them. Basically no wants to fix the problem, but it causes us to place the order on the app and then have to follow up with calling he restaurant to request our simple change - and it is a time waste and a frustration. One of the biggest reasons why is because the restaurant is always loud, so it’s always frustrating to try to explain this EVERY TIME and only about half the time is our order correct.
I already know Applebees does not care about its customers with food allergies or special diets, but this is kind of ridiculous. Just be consistent. It’s a simple request. You allow all kinds of other removals or additions - why not croutons?
Dishonest waitress
Today my husband and went to Applebees for dinner. Our waitress Lea F was trying to add items to our bill. She always seemed as if she was in a rush with our table and not stopping to answer any questions. She got our order wrong a couple of times after I told her I needed dairy free food. When it came time to give us our bill she quickly dropped it at the table and left thinking I was going to pay online. However our bill came out to be almost 25 dollars more than it should have been. We looked over the bill and saw that she added another full item and an extra ala cart salad. On the mobile bill, when I scanned it, i noticed she added two specialty drinks which then made our bill $90 and listed our table as having 3 guests. I don’t like to be deceived like this. I called her over and told her there were errors on our bill. Luckily I also took a picture of the bill she originally left at our table after running off and avoiding us. This bill also showed that she listed our table as having three guests. She knew exactly what she was doing. This was no mistake. I can only imagine how many other ppl she has done this to. I hope management will look into this. I have pictures of the bills for proof.
