I’m using this with a SP608E, in an car audio application, with WS2811 addressable RGB LEDs. The controller and LEDs are all receiving 12 volts, and the LED runs are very short. Right now I’m just illuminating the inside of my subwoofer enclosure, but I’d like to add a few more runs to highlight my amp rack. I like the various functions, but it won’t do static colors. I’ve watched “tutorials”, which aren’t very helpful, and have followed what few instructions I could find, and nothing works. Everything flashes or pulses with numerous colors, regardless of the setting. The speed control isn’t very helpful either. The lights are either fast, or REALLY fast. The videos for the SP608E are very misleading. I’m not sure if I have a faulty controller, or if the issue is with the app. The concept of eight controllable channels is fantastic, but it definitely needs to be fine tuned.

My tv remote is connected to my led lights?!?! Every time I click the OK button on my tv remote, the LED lights go white, but every time I click the up button on my tv remote the LED lights turn white, and when I click the right button on my tv remote the LED lights go rainbow, and when I turn my tv off or even just mute the volume, all of the LED lights just completely turn off, but the quality of the lights are still very good.

These light are amazing. I really love all the color changes. The app works really well but the remote is a little off it doesn’t work properly plus it’s not as good as the other remotes the other led light have. Like the ones with ALL the colors not just red, green, blue, and white. Because what if a little kid got them and they didn’t have any other device than they can’t change it to the color they like... Just a thought :)
