Battle Boards

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Climb. Compete. Send. Challenge friends or the community in ranked and casual training board matches, track your stats, and rise through the leaderboards!
**Turn every board session into a head-to-head challenge. Battle Boards lets
you compete with climbers on Kilter and Tension boards, wherever and whenever
you each climb.**
Post a public challenge, invite a friend, or find an open match that fits your
board. Choose your angle and grade range, then climb the same problem under the
same rules. Each player gets a focused ten-minute turn, so you can compete
without needing to be at the same gym—or even climb at the same time.
### CLIMB YOUR WAY
• Play ranked matches when you want the result to count
• Keep it relaxed with casual challenges
• Challenge a friend directly or take on the wider community
• Filter open matches by board, angle, mode, and more
• Set your preferred grade range, wall angle, and supported board setup
### SEE EVERY MOVE
Follow the selected climb on a clear, interactive board view. Pinch to zoom and
pan for a closer look at every hold. On compatible Aurora-powered setups,
connect over Bluetooth and light the problem on the physical board.
### BUILD YOUR BOARD RATING
Ranked results shape a separate seasonal Elo rating for each board, helping you
measure progress where you actually climb. Compare your standing across All
Boards, Kilter, and Tension leaderboards—or see how you stack up within your
friends list.
### KNOW YOUR CLIMBING
Go beyond wins and losses with performance stats for sends, attempts, flashes,
matches, and more. Explore board-specific results, revisit your match history,
and review climbs from completed battles.
### CLIMB TOGETHER, EVEN APART
Find friends by handle, share your profile, send direct casual challenges, and
track your head-to-head record. Match and friend notifications help you know
when it is your turn without keeping both climbers on the same schedule.
### EARN THE PROOF
Unlock trophies as you play and build a Trophy Case that highlights your
accomplishments. Your public profile brings together your boards, ratings,
friends, trophies, and recent matches in one place.
Whether you are chasing the leaderboard, settling a friendly rivalry, or
looking for extra motivation during a solo session, Battle Boards makes every
problem a competition worth sending.
Battle Boards currently supports compatible Kilter Board and Tension Board
setups. Access to supported climbing-board hardware and an internet connection
are required for gameplay. Bluetooth lighting requires a compatible
Aurora-powered setup. Always climb within your ability and follow your gym's
rules and the board manufacturer's safety guidance.
