BDAA is the companion app for the BDAA Convention — the annual gathering
of musicians who play domra, balalaika, bayan, and the rest of the
Slavic folk-instrument family. The community is multicultural: Russian,
Ukrainian, Belarusian, and other traditions, all in one room.
Sign in with the email you registered with, and the app shows you what
you came for:
— THE SCHEDULE. Every rehearsal, masterclass, concert, and meal in one
place. Updates as the program evolves. Bookmark sessions and the app
notifies you when their time or room changes.
— YOUR PART. Pick your instrument and the app shows the right sheet
music for every piece. Open the score in full screen, pinch to zoom,
flip pages with a swipe. New revisions arrive without you doing
anything.
— REFERENCE AUDIO. Most pieces include a reference recording so you can
practice along with how the conductor wants the piece to feel.
— ANNOUNCEMENTS. Quick messages from the organizers — "rehearsal moved
to room B", "bus leaves at 9", "send your photos to this album". You
get them as push notifications.
— OFFLINE. Once you've opened a piece, the score and audio are cached
on your device. The app keeps working in concert halls with no signal.
The app is free, ad-free, and built for the convention by participants.
We don't track you, don't show ads, and don't share your data with
anyone outside what's needed to deliver email and push notifications.

To use the app you have to be registered for the convention. If you
haven't registered yet, head to bdaa.org first — once you're on the
participant roster, your email unlocks the app.
