BDS Laundry Start 4+

It is wonderful to be able to use the laundry service with the app. I can load more than enough money onto the app, and it is always ready to go, and I’ve never had a problem with the machine as they start up just fine. Great! No, more having to hunt down quarters… it is also nice to have the tracker time right on the app as well as a reminder of when my laundry is ready to be changed over for machines or to be picked up so I get out of everyone else’s way… Love it!

The app allows me to load money into it without any issue, start a cycle, and also as long as I stay on the app until it says “paid” or whatever, it also tracks my cycle and tells me when it’s done. All very helpful for sure. The reason I dock a star is because (at least in my building) some of the features beyond these, seem inaccessible/non-operational. Like checking the status of the room ahead of time. It says 0 of 0 machines. That’s impossible lol. I haven’t tried the maintenance feature luckily so nothing on that end but overall it makes laundry somewhat simpler. I grew up with quarters but I like the preload and go with this app. Just put $30 on it and you’re good for a bit regardless of actual cash or money in the bank.

This is the stupidest thing I have every encountered to wash my clothes when traveling for work. I’m in a hotel and I have to download an app, register an account, and load $10 onto said account just to wash my clothes for $2.25. Tried to pay through the card swipe on the actual machine but you can only select a cycle through the app and not on the machine but the catch is with the app in order to can the washing machine you have to load a minimum of $10 on the app before you can even scan the machine, so stupid for a hotel. Why have a chip reader/swiper on the actual machine if you can’t even select a cycle without loading money onto the app, like make it make sense. I understand for apartment complexes because you’d be someone using this app every week but for the turnover rate in a hotel this is just ridiculous, makes absolutely no sense.
