Need to rollback the update

Went to add coupons so I could go shopping. After figuring out that you HAD to update password with the new app, finally was able to login. Oh my!! The endless scrolling through every single type of name brand coke was ridiculous. I really liked the previous app that let you quickly add a coupon. I absolutely loved when it indicated the coupons already used and told me how much I have saved using the coupons. Now, it’s just endless scrolling and I really don’t have 20-30 minutes (internet is slow where I live) to add the 4-5 coupons. And now, I can’t tell which ones I have already clipped and used. Hopefully I figure it out before I lose my monthly ones.

User Friendly

When the app was first rolled out, I will admit I was a little frustrated because it lacked some of the features that were convenient in the old app. But rolling out any new app or piece of software is going to come with its glitches. The developer team quickly made changes and improvements over what was rolled out and it is now extremely user-friendly. Shoppers can view the weekly ad, click on a picture of the item they want, and place that item in their cart, all in one selection. You can filter VE coupons by food category to make it easier to locate what you’re looking for without having to scroll through many pages of coupons. The app also has predictive text so if a shopper is looking for some thing, it will bring up a list of items that starts with those letters. Another new feature that I really like is that you can select items and it will build a grocery list for you. What I would like to see added in the future is the ability for that list to tell me what aisle those products are on in the store. And perhaps sort the shopping list in order of isles. I would like to have the ability to click on an item inside the celebrate, cooking magazine, and add those items directly to my cart. Either one or all. The click and shop feature is available for the weekly circular and the web saver so I think, adding that feature to the celebrate cooking magazine would be awesome. Great job Brookshire’s listening to feedback and making improvements.

Total waste of time

If this is what Brookshire’s calls bug fixes, don’t waste your time. I had surgery recently and my husband is useless in the grocery store. Thought I’d order online and have him pick up the order. No problem, right? This really shouldn’t be that hard to do, but I spent more than a couple hours shopping online. By the time I finished, I had several items listed up to 5 times each, not by choice. Every time I tried to change the number of items or even trash-can it, the item was added again. The number of items in my cart never changed, but who wants to take the chance. There are only two of us and we don’t need 5 packages or corn tortillas or 5 packages of sliced cheese, among other items. How do you even check out? I never saw a PAY HERE button. Almost every response from the “Developer” on here is “talk to customer service”. If you’re the Developer, looks like you could do something about this mess. Or maybe Customer Service should be responding to these reviews. Something tells me they don’t even read them. I’ve spent a lot of money at Brookshire’s over the years, as did my mother before me and I’m 70. I’m more than ready to take my business elsewhere, even if I have to drive 50 miles. If you want to go out of business, close the doors already! Maybe then we can get HEB or even Kroger here.
