Allesandro ,

Can’t view trails?

Edit: Thanks for the continuous improvements! I do wish there was an easier way to have your friends visible. We should be able to do this without creating a ride or area exploration. Maybe just an “always on” feature so I can see my friends onscreen at all times, or at least for the weekend we are riding together.

Developer Response ,

Hi Allesandro! Thank you very much for your feedback regarding the group riding feature. Our team will consider these ideas for future developments of the app. Cheers!

Apps don’t work and need BRP Go work better

Some apps don’t work in the dash. We need the BRP Go app to open WHEN we connect it to the bike. We shouldn’t have to open it first. The addition of the Music app is worthless as it requires stopping to get music playing or change what is playing. I can easy just grab the phone and do that as I’m stopped so why have it available if it’s useless? What would be better is if we could get music playing or change it WHILE MOVING.

After talking to BRP Care about wanting what was promised which is to have the Go app open after connecting to the bike. Also Dash radio app is not working and the solution I got from BRP Care is to try a different cable? The approved cable I’m using works and all apps except Dash radio works in the bike’s dash. So, why would a different cable allow Dash Radio to work when all the other apps work fine with the cable I’m using? I’ve reinstalled both Dash radio and BRP Go and no change. Please do t put the onus on the customer to troubleshoot.

Developer Response ,

Hi Flamewinger! The current behavior of the Music app has been designed to ensure safe riding without additional distraction. Your comment has been shared with the team to see what can be done to improve use while riding while maintaining an adequate level of safety. Regarding Dash Radio, it seems to be an error in the Dash Radio app following an app update they made. We are awaiting a correction from them.. You can contact Dash Radio directly to try to speed up the fix. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you!

Needs more map options

I am using this app for snowmobiling. Overall this app is very nice looking and easy to use. However, there are a few enhancements that would need to be added before it can unseat the Polaris app as my “daily driver.”

1. An option to keep the map oriented north up. I always use Google Maps and Polaris Ride Command with rotation locked in the north up orientation. Currently, I see no way to set this in the BRP Go app.

2. Zoom options. In other navigation apps I have the ability to set a custom zoom level. I like to have a larger map area showing when riding. The BRP Go app currently has total control over the zoom level. I would like the ability to keep the map centered on my position at whatever zoom level I choose while riding.

3. Disable dynamic zoom. The BRP Go app zooms in as you’re slowing down. It seems to work okay, but I’d like an option to disable auto zooming.

3. The ability to switch between dark and light map view, regardless of system settings. I like my phone set to dark mode, but I like my maps in light mode. Please give us the option in-app to turn off dark mode completely and the option to only use dark mode at night.

Again, the app seems very nice overall. However, if they’d like me to switch from the Ride Command App, I need these options!
