🌟🌟🌟🌟Nice app! I have not tried other calendar apps so the only thing I can compare this to is the default calendar on my iPhone. The screen shots are not the best representation of how this app can be used. They look like the dev wanted to show off a bunch of the features at once. You can set up the font, colors and background however you want so it wont look as distracting as they have it laid out. I really, really like this one. I was bummed that it didn't have the current days date visible from the icon badge, then I played around with some of the MANY settings and BAM! there it was…the option to have the date on the icon badge…awesome…now it's perfect, right? Nope, the date appears inside a red bubble attached to the corner of the icon badge. Like the kind that you get on other apps when there is a notification. I hate those red bubbles. Five star app if date was on badge instead of distracting red update/notification bubble. The options are endless, font, color(of everything), background, you name it this app probably has it. I will keep the Date option off and use the default calendar as my "quick glance" date notifier. I set up multiple events and was able to use a lot of features, also when I opened the default calendar all of the events were loaded into that one as well…bonus! Other than having no ads and using your own pics for backgrounds, I don't see a need for $2.99 upgrade. The ads are on bottom of screen and do not interfere with the app and they have more than enough background choices. Free for me :)I like it. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Update from my previous comments below:All my past comments still apply except for the negative one about default color and changing the color to what I want they seem to have fixed that so I know I'll get whatever color I choose and it now stays for that calendar item.Also agree with other reviewer's that it would sure be nice to be able to look into the past and see what appointments, etc. I had three or four months ago as it automatically deletes them out.Old Comments:Better than iCalendar. Pros: -syncs automatically my iphone and ipad, and my wifes iphone so she has my calendar. -Alarms work well to notify upcoming event.-Different colors for different events, work, play, appts, etc - however you want to set it up.-Can scroll thru various events for the day-Can customize month calendar background with photos of your choice.Cons:-Difficult to tap event on iphone due to how small event is on month calendar, but can change to day or week view to make it bigger. Usually still works on month view but takes a couple of tries at times. - Difficult to delete event as you have to go into the edit event portion and then all the way down to the bottom. There is a delete button on initial screen but it doesn't respond for me unless go into edit view.-Haven't figured out how to get SIRI to sync an event to the calendar for me when talking with her.-Default color for event will often pop up even though I chose a different color initially. I have to go back into edit event and select different color once again and then it usually stays that color WOULD BE NICE TO GET THAT FIXED.Overall happy with app and have used it for years.

I sync multiple calendars, each with its own color. I make custom colors for various events and along with the endless custom colors you can adjust font colors, type and size. I especially like that I can use my own pictures for the calendar background. When I receive a notification about an event I can click on it and have it inserted right into which ever calendar I want. Also everything in this calendar automatically syncs into the Apple calendar so when I sync my iPhone everything is backed up on you computer.

Color coding my different activities like work, family events, doctor visits, coffee dates is so helpful. I also love how I can see what I am scheduled for with a glance on the monthly calendar instead of only seeing a dot. The back ground pictures are too distracting for me to use along with the color coding, but thankfully you have the choice to keep the background plain. I do wish you could select one background for all months without having to save it individually for every month.
