It relies on ARKit by Apple. Machine learning algorithms combine the device sensors data (accelerometer, gyroscope…) with odometry which analyses in real time the video of the camera and relies on visual details of images, in order to scan the environment and find the position and rotation angle of the device. Highly recommended and I don’t know the publisher or the developer and this review is completely voluntary on my own accord cause it needed to be said, I am not being rewarded or compensated by anyone for giving my opinion. (I would take a free premium membership if I was offered one though! Lol /s /jk)

As a structural steel project manager. Nothing has come close to being as useful as this. The flags are a stroke of brilliance and the ability to measure out large areas and look over what you may have missed is invaluable. L lastly it actually creating a measured sketch for later use or review has saved me more time than without embarrassment ,I care to say. No more looking around for the right blueprint or sheet of paper or napkin they got left on the job site or caught on fire from welding sparks.To the developer: I hope that the popularity grows so that you can continue to improve upon an already great concept.

As a DIY home improvement person, and real estate investor, I’ve spent infinite hours measuring and mapping out yards, floor plans and wall structures with a tape measure and a notepad. This app has cut that time by orders of magnitude and made keeping plans extremely efficient. It’s also pretty amazing how accurately it can track pretty complicated areas, even when it’s difficult to actually reach the corners and edges.Bravo!!
