Turn college application overwhelm into a clear plan—with step-by-step tasks, deadlines, reminders, and teen and ADHD-friendly support that helps students keep moving. College applications are complicated. Your plan doesn’t have to be. CAPReady U helps students turn the college application process into clear, manageable next steps. Students can organize deadlines, track progress, build a college list, and keep important tasks in one place using a structure designed to reduce overwhelm and support follow-through. Created by veteran educators with experience in college counseling, special education, and executive-function support, CAPReady U is especially helpful for students who struggle with planning, organization, task initiation, working memory, time management, or knowing what to do next. Built for students who get overwhelmed CAPReady U breaks a large, complicated process into smaller, more manageable steps. The app includes practical supports such as: • Clear directions and examples • Smaller, manageable tasks • Structured checklists • Realistic timelines and reminders • Visual progress tracking • Reduced decision fatigue • Help identifying what matters now, what can wait, and what comes next Students do not have to complete everything at once. The goal is to focus on one meaningful next step and keep moving forward. Stay organized from start to submit Use CAPReady U to: • Build and organize a college list • Track application requirements and deadlines • Plan for recommendation letters, essays, and submissions • Save notes, ideas, and important information • See completed tasks and remaining priorities • Build routines using reminders and structured checklists • Break larger application tasks into manageable steps • Keep progress connected to your account across sessions Real support from real people Sometimes a checklist is not enough. Students who choose a supported plan can message a real college counselor when they are confused, stuck, or unsure what to do next. Responses come from experienced human counselors—not an automated chatbot. Counselor support is designed to complement the planning tools in the app by helping students work through questions, understand next steps, and continue making progress. Helpful for students and families CAPReady U supports students as they work through college lists, recommendations, essays, deadlines, and applications while encouraging them to take ownership of the process. With the student’s permission, parents or guardians may also receive automated email updates when key tasks and milestones are completed. This can help families stay informed without needing to constantly ask for updates. The result is more structure, clearer expectations, and fewer repeated reminders at home. Designed by ForwardReady U CAPReady U was created by ForwardReady U, a college and career counseling practice focused on helping neurodivergent, overwhelmed, and differently wired teens navigate major transitions with practical support and clear next steps.
