Coconote - AI Note Taker 4+

Ive been using Coconote and really enjoying it, but I had a couple of suggestions that I think could make it even better!

It would be incredibly helpful if timestamps were automatically added next to each note to show exactly where that point was mentioned in the audio. For example, if the lecturer says, the Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell, there would be a timestamp like16:54 next to the note, making it easy to jump to that exact part of the recording.

Additionally, having a visible timer while recording would be great. This way, as the lecture is happening, I can quickly jot down the current timestamp when something important is said, making it much easier to find that section later without needing to scroll through the entire audio.

I use this app for when I go to my doctors because I can no longer rely on my memory and just sit there and take notes while the doctor is speaking takes time away from the visit. This app takes our conversation and breaks it down into sections. Everything you can possibly imagine is in the breakdown. Also, if you speak another language and the appointment or the note is in another language, it will create the same breakdown in that language and even translate into English And then break it down again. The sheer amount of information that the app extracts from the conversation is absolutely amazing. What is also amazing is the support you get a personalized response within 24 to 48 hours. The app is expensive but in my opinion worth every penny.

The app has a great foundation, but there are a few areas where it could be more effective. While the concept of creating quizzes based on notes is helpful, the limitation of only 15 questions per quiz feels restrictive and doesn’t allow for thorough learning. I also noticed that after editing my notes, the flashcards and quizzes didn’t update to reflect the changes, which is a missed opportunity to improve dynamic learning.

The feature of listing notes is excellent, but adding a “read-aloud” option would significantly enhance accessibility and help auditory learners. Talking to the AI within the app is helpful, but it would be even better if there were an option to take longer exams or practice tests. For college students, a feature allowing users to combine multiple sets of notes for comprehensive final exam preparation would be highly beneficial.

Overall, it’s a solid app with a lot of potential, but adding these features could take it to the next level for students seeking thorough and flexible study tools.
