Description
Want to run a 5K but don’t know where to begin?
iRun is your starting line: The app’s personalized workouts will have you off to the races in eight weeks tops.
iRun creates a personalized training plan based on your experience—just answer a few questions about your workout history and the app will take it from there.
Workouts combine walking and running intervals and max out at 30 minutes three days a week. Use the app to track your progress, or activate an audio coach to guide you through your routine.
A 5K is waiting for you—all you have to do is tap “Let’s go.”
Application supports Apple Health to track activity during workout.

Something I would like to add
I know this is a couch to 5 k but sometimes I’m not able to do the whole 30 minutes because of whatever reason and then the work out I did do does not count. Is there a way to add a feature that just counts your miles and date? Also I know the tens is set for 24 hours but sometimes like in a weekend I want to go earlier than my previous days run and it will not let me.
Love this app but maybe a few changes
Today was the first day that I tried this app. I liked it for the most part and some benefits were that it tells you when to start running, and pushes you to work through it. My only concern is that it doesn’t tell you how much calories you burned and how far you went. If you are playing music, the sound does overlap so that you can pay attention and jam out. This is a really easy way to get fit and i think you should check it out!
Recommended to me
A friend recommended this app and I kept putting off trying it. In the meantime, I tried another run training app that I had previously purchased and it wasn’t working for me. I’ve tried this and I love it! I like the simplicity and the ability to listen to my own playlists while using the app. I would recommend it to others just like my friend did for me.
