As a follow-up to Endless Alphabet, set the stage for early reading success with Endless Reader! This app introduces "sight words", the most commonly used words in school, library, and children's books. Kids need to recognize these words by sight in order to achieve reading fluency. Recognizing sight words is advantageous for beginning readers because many of these words have unusual spelling, cannot be sounded out using phonics knowledge, and often cannot be represented using pictures.

Kids will have a blast learning sight words and their context and usage with the adorable Endless monsters. Each word features an interactive word puzzle with letters that come alive, and then a sentence puzzle with words that become what they describe. See the word "dog" as a barking dog, and the word "up" reach for the sky!

** NOTE: You must be online and have sufficient disk space while running the app to get all words in the app. **

- 6 words free to try with additional word packs available for purchase.
- Delightful animations reinforce sight recognition of words in a fun and interactive way.
- Word puzzles reinforce spelling using lower-case letters and the sentence puzzles teach definition and usage (in addition to sight recognition).
- 3D Touch on iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus makes letters and words react in an extra special way!
- Endless Reader was designed with your children in mind. There are no high scores, failures, limits or stress. Your children can interact with the app at their own pace.

Editors’ Notes

The friendly monsters from the popular app Endless Alphabet are back to help children learn how to read. Kids can jump right into this intuitive app, building sight words letter by letter and watching them come alive to reflect their meaning, with “dog” wagging a tail and “cake” sprouting candles. As little ones place each word in a sentence and watch a cuddly character act out its meaning, they’ll gain early word-recognition and reading skills while having tons of parent-approved fun.

Great, but wish it had one extra setting

Our boys love this app, and it has helped them identify words in books. We’ve paid for the complete set and I feel it was worth the money. My only complaint is that they enjoy the animations so much that they’ll spell out a word and then replay the animation 10+ times before moving onto another word. I would love to have the option to hide the replay button so they have to spell the word again if they want to rewatch the animation.

Almost flawless sight reading 4 toddlers

Thoughtful animations, super effective sounds paired with each movable element on the screen (ie sound of letter playing when child drags it across screen to spell a word), seamless scrolling through available words & fast loading times make this app one of the best I’ve seen for child with ASD (or any toddler).

My ONLY suggestion would be to somehow highlight the sentence being read (in sync with the reading) so that the child can easily and intuitively read along - seems like this would really tie the whole experience together for maximum impact. My daughter LOVES the app, but I echo another review in that she often just waits to hit the replay button to watch the animation again. If the sentence text could somehow dominate the screen or come alive a bit more during the final reading, that would make this the best educational app I’ve ever come across.
