FreeCell Solitaire adds a new element of strategy to the classic solitaire games Klondike. After dealing from a standard deck of 52 cards, use the four free cell spots as placeholders as you try to move all of the cards from the Foundation stacks for a win. Just like Klondike solitaire games, you must move cards from the Tableau to the Foundation cells by suit, in ascending order. Most FreeCell games can be solved, if you can find the right strategy.
You've played FreeCell solitaire on your computer, and now you can play FreeCell, anywhere at any time of the day! You won’t want to play any other FreeCell solitaire game again!

I left a one star review (see below). Mobilityware was kind enough to respond with information including the fact that they do have a paid ad free version. I was puzzled because I couldn’t find it in the App Store. I had recently switched to a different iPad which I set up manually. In that process I unknowingly installed the unpaid version of Mobilityware’s FreeCell with ads. The unpaid version shares the same icon as the paid version in the App Store and on the screen. I couldn’t find a paid version because I had already purchased it. In the App Store both versions with the same icon both showed a cloud rather than a price. The problem was user error and I am that user. All I can say is it would be helpful if the icon or the text made clearer the differences between the paid and unpaid versions. Thanks Mobilityware. I am glad to be able to play the daily challenges without ads.
May 15 one star review:I have used Freecell, Spider, Solitare and Jig Saw Puzzles from Mobilityware for several years. I love them all. The latest update to Freecell has video ads which MUST be watched to get to the game. That is unacceptable to me. I would much rather pay for games to get the option of no ads. To demonstrate that, I just paid over $5 for Brainium’s Freecell without ads. Mobilityware, please let me know if/when you give an option to pay for ad free software.

Thank you so much for taking the time to update your review! First, I am happy to hear that you were able to retrieve your paid-version. We appreciate your feedback regarding a more distinct differentiation between paid and free. Currently, the app icon for the free ad-supported version of Solitaire features a silver border, while the paid ad-free version features a gold border! Nonetheless, I went ahead and passed your comments along to our developers for consideration.
Please feel free to reach back out if you have additional suggestions that can improve your gameplay or questions! We are here to help. Thanks for playing MobilityWare FreeCell!
I play Solitaire, FreeCell, spider solitaire, & pyramid every day, and they are all good games to challenge your mind, but they all have the same quirks that I wish would get fixed. The first is that after winning a daily challenge, you are presented with only 2 options - next deal or menu. Frequently, I want to exit so I can look at daily challenges. I wish that were an option. The second is that the games give you bonus points on your 1st, 5th, & 10th wins of the day. Oddly, how many games you’ve won in a day isn’t shown in the statistics. Just as odd, the day starts at 3 am Eastern Time for this metric. I will often wake at 1 am EDT and win the daily challenge, only to be given the additional 100 points for my 1st win of the day later in the morning. I also wish that some difference between pyramid & FreeCell in how they handle challenges would be aligned. While I am not normally a fan of the time wasted with the graphics, I like the fact that pyramid shows you when you meet a challenge whereas FreeCell makes you constantly return to the challenges (after the extra steps to leave the menu) to know if you’ve completed them. Finally, I often accidentally hit the button to play the daily challenge after I have already won it by mistake. I don’t understand why you don’t return to the menu after leaving the daily challenge screen.

I don’t usually give 5 stars...
...but this game is simply awesome. I have improved greatly and I win much more often now because the game is engaging and entertaining. I love the fact that you can customize the background and card backs. The game controls are intuitive and easy to master, yet they also are comprehensive and don’t hinder the gameplay in their simplicity. I find the animations are a nice little reward when I win. I do have one small bit of feedback, though. I have made it to Grand Master level and every time I fill up the points bar, it shows a badge icon like there’s another title above Grand Master. There isn’t. I still love being able to see my points total, but I could do without having to clear that badge icon every couple of days. Like I said it’s a small bit, certainly not worth deducting a star, but worth looking into I think. Thanks for the years of great games and keep them coming!

Thank you for playing FreeCell Solitaire and we're really glad that you love the game so much! After a user has earned the highest Title in the list, then they start over. However, a Roman Numeral is added to the end of each subsequent title that is earned to signify how many times you have gone through the list.
Please open the in-game Settings and select Support to Contact Us if you have any questions about the game or would like us to elaborate on the Titles for you! Thank you for taking the time to write a positive review for our card game!
