Reloading a card to pay is not ideal

It wasn’t a difficult app to use, but I do not like that I have to load a card from my credit/debit card before being able to pay. And in $10 increments no less! If I am already providing my card information, why can’t it just be run for the exact amount of my purchase? Can I zero out the balance on that reloadable card? Or will ADC hold onto the dollars I don’t use in perpetuity? It doesn’t make sense and really makes me reluctant to use this app regularly. I’m not comfortable paying more for my lunch than I should be charged for. $10 to get a $7.50 salad… why would you need that extra $2.50? What if I don’t make another purchase in the future? Do I get that $2.50 back?

A Fresh Look with a History Hiccup

I’ve had a positive experience with this app, appreciating its user-friendly interface and straightforward reloading process. The recent facelift has further enhanced the UI, making navigation and usage even more intuitive.

One feature I particularly value is the ability to view my purchase history, which adds to the convenience. However, I’ve encountered a drawback after the latest update – my entire order history seems to have vanished.

Despite this issue, I still find the app remarkably convenient for my needs.

Overpriced, malfunctioning app.

After paying a few 300% markups on drinks and snacks, I finally used the Contact Us option in the app to email about closing my account and getting my remaining funds returned.

Cue three hours later when my email comes back undeliverable.

I'm betting this is the business model - force you to install $5 minimum per reload, price items accordingly so you can never break even, keep the free change left over from thousands of customers when they quit because they can’t reach customer service to demand a refund. Lesson learned, never again.
