Glassboxx cuts through all digital content ‘authentication’ issues, consolidating your eBook AND audiobook purchases made through affiliated stores, within an eminently user-friendly, secure environment.
No password required – simply log in with the email address used to buy the book and enter the verification code sent to your email – and your content awaits in the ‘My Books’ area of the app, with formats clearly labelled. With the content in the cloud, downloading requires an initial internet connection, but once downloaded, your books can be enjoyed to your heart’s content in the remotest, furthest-flung corners of the earth, where internet penetration is a mere pipe-dream…
THE AUDIO-PLAYER WILL:
• Auto-save your current position in the book – so that you can pick up right where you left off, even if listening on different devices
• Allow for skip forward/backward to recap where relevant
• Offer sleep timer option
• Play on lock-screen, enabling easy access to playback controls
• Play in background whilst browsing other apps
• Play immediately, and download in the background (provided internet access is available)

App error
Not really thrilled with this app. Only got it for one specific book that I was having trouble finding, even used.
When I first purchased the book, had the app downloaded and verified, the books still wasn’t showing up. I was able to get it to show up through contacting CS. I am now having trouble accessing the book again (and this isn’t the first time, but I can’t remember if it ever resolved the last time). I have yet to contact CS again, and while they will hopefully be able to fix the problem I don’t want to be constant emailing or calling CS.

streamlined, elegant reading app
Just started using Glassboxx today. It is so beautiful and zen compared to kindle! Font selection, setting selections are intuitive. They even have a font for dyslexics (being one I really appreciate the developers for considering us). If I could wish for one additional feature it would be to allow for pagination via the cursor keys available on an iPad Magic Keyboard. Congrats for an excellent design that is truly user-centered!
One aspect of the design that I find a bit distracting is the red reading progress bar at the bottom of the page. It's nice to know how much I've read but the color red is so strongly associated with STOP (at least in the USA) my concentration is broken every time I look at the bottom of the page. Perhaps a more neutral color that even color blind people could see, like a royal blue?

Purchased books not even displaying to read
I purchased two instructional ebooks. They were paid in full and credit card charged. Downloaded the app and successfully installed app, and was “verified.”
No books displayed or available for download to read. Waited for considerable time and still nothing. Sent email and no reply. Reviewed FAQ’s no help.
When a credit card is charged the material should be available. App says wait ten minutes. Nothing on app to read hours after credit card charged. Still not books as of this writing.

Unfortunately there was an issue with the order sent to the system and once we resolved this all was immediately fixed.
