This update improves halal ingredient review, barcode and label scanning, photo checks, and product guidance. It also includes clearer explanations, updated app metadata, improved app store assets, and general reliability improvements.

Barcode, label, and food-photo scanning now checks ingredient names and E-numbers more consistently, including raisins, sultanas, sulphites/sulfites, sulfur dioxide, and E220-E228. Results are clearer: explicit haram ingredients are flagged as Haram, while foods with no haram evidence are shown as Halal or Likely Halal. This update also improves product explanations, ingredient breakdowns, and scan-history display so users are not confused by unnecessary Unknown results.

Updated halal result logic with clearer labels: Halal, Likely Halal, Needs Check, Unknown, and Haram. This version also improves halal certification handling, recognizes more simple foods as naturally halal, moves Developer and Support sections into Settings, and removes extra shortcut icons from the main screens.

We rebuilt the app as Halal Kontrol and improved the verification experience. This update makes food photo checks more cautious, improves handling for plain whole foods and visible halal certification, and better separates ingredient-label evidence from unclear image search results. It also includes refreshed localized App Store screenshots and small polish improvements across the app.
