Description
HID Approve is a multi-factor authentication solution from HID Global that delivers a simple and secure way for you to validate transactions and authenticate.
With push notifications you can approve an authentication or transaction request on your personal device. For offline use, HID Approve enables you to generate one-time secure codes for strong authentication.
HID Approve is a part of a broad range of hardware and software security tokens from HID Global that work with the HID Authentication Platform.
To get started with HID Approve you will need to download the App and enroll it with your service provider.

NEEDS UPDATE!!
I’m a healthcare provider and I use this app in conjunction with my computer to approve prescriptions that are submitted digitally to the local pharmacies. Each prescription submission requires a swipe on the green approval bar and a password to be entered. For over a year, the password autofill feature has been broken. Sometimes it works, other times it autofills nothing and I have to try again. It’s totally random and frustrating. Anyways, I had hoped this issue would eventually get fixed, but now it’s completely broken with the iOS 18.4 update in April 2025. No passwords will autofill and it comes up blank every time. Very annoying issue that I wish the developers would fix.
Glitchy
This app is so glitchy. It took 4 weeks for onboarding with the EHR vendor; they couldn’t get them to interface. Now finally in use, stops working and takes days to get it to work. I’ve used 3 other Identrust apps and not had as many problems. I wouldn’t be able to use this telemedicine; not reliable enough.
Does what it should, but too slow
I don’t know if this a company issue, but this app sits for a full minute after issuing an OTP, and will not issue another even if you close the app & reopen. Using HID ActivClient with badge reader I can breeze through in 20 seconds what takes 4 full minutes with this app. Usually longer because…who doesn’t start something else while waiting that long?
