Started October with Hostfully to be have a hands on approach with my properties. Guest response doubled, using 3 channels plus Direct. Booking using hostfully site. I Love the automation,. Being able to brand my logo on the direct booking site & all the exchanges between channels & guest saves hours of my time. So I do not feel stressed when addressing a guest personally. Most of their questions are already answered In the automation messages & a great relationship is already established. The team chat is awesome, quick responses, reviews information carefully & refers me to excellent articles for better understanding platforms & the varing bookin channeles. Also they seen clear photo snapes showing exactly how to navigate changes for the website or guest issues.

The software is great when it works but the second you have a problem your minimum wait to talk to someone is 20 minutes and it’s via text and that person will have litteraly minimal knowledge of the software and then they will escalate it to level two who you will never and I mean never hear back from. You are essentially on your own even with serious issues that will cost your company bookings. Just one example the system was not delivering my messages to guests at all so all of my messages weren’t being received including check in instructions and answering guest questions. Level two received this about a week and a half ago and I never heard even a single word back. Nothing not even when it was this serious. I’ve had multiple examples of this play out over and over. There is absolutely no one who you can talk to get help in a serious situation and you can not get a manager or anyone beyond the level one support. The owner of this company should be ashamed the software is fantastic but when you leave your customers out In the cold like this it’s absolutely absurd. People’s businesses are on the line, allot of money is at stake and litteraly no one will help you. Most of the time you can get more information out of ChatGPT but when it’s a serious technical issue and you need something done ASAP, you are up the creek.

I will admit that while the onboarding process takes a while and there is quite a lot of work to get this going, the effort is totally worth it. The flexibility it provides me as a host to more personally interact, add upsells (I have a farm with all kinds of goodies), get paid on referrals to local activities and tours, integrate with a ton of marketing channels, customize my correspondence, manage pricing, I could go on…I am totally empowered now to expand my portfolio of STR’s and feel confident I am engaging with the marketplace and my clients in the best way…and earn what I need to make it all worthwhile. We have used Hostfully for a number of years and been overall disappointed with the amount of bugs they can’t seem to solve in a timely manner. Support is limited to live chat, which responds like a broken record “We have reached out to our Dev team and they are working on it!”. This goes on for weeks, and they require constant badgering to get updates. The features are all there to make a solid PMS, and I think it would be a great platform if it was stable - but the software is constantly breaking and takes weeks to solve simple issues. App is painfully slow. I’ll consider adjusting my review once they fix our texting feature, which we have programmed to be the basis of our operation for guest communication. Overall, if you’re looking to transition to a PMS, I’d look elsewhere for a more stable option with competent support agents.
