- iOS: Fixed recipient validation accepting malformed email addresses with misplaced dots or domain hyphens. - iOS: Fixed audio notes failing after repeated Siri shortcut runs when an earlier note finished sending during a new recording. Thanks Josep Maria for reporting the issue. - iOS: Improved recording reliability when Siri runs again while a take is paused or finishing, and improved access to files supplied by Shortcuts. Thank you for reading! Please email me at info@emailmeapp.net any suggestions to make the App better for you. - Manuel

- Built for iOS 27 and Apple Intelligence: - Ask Siri to email you whatever's on screen, tagged or pinned if you like. - Ask Siri to find, open or search your notes, or about the note you're viewing. - Notes show up in Spotlight and as Siri cards you can open or send again. - Extra-large widgets show two columns of notes, plus the new portrait size. - Large widgets now show six notes, and tapping one picks the note you tapped. Thank you for reading! Please email me at info@emailmeapp.net any suggestions to make the App better for you. - Manuel

- The app is now ready for iOS 27. - The new "Email Me Attachment" action sends files and images from Shortcuts, including clipboard items and screenshots. Thanks Joe for the idea. - iOS: Choose the default camera flash mode under Settings → Advanced → Images → Camera Flash. Thanks Steve for asking. - Subject Prefix now uses the complete first line. - Long audio notes now include transcripts, with hour-long recordings typically completing in about 30 seconds and emails always showing the transcription outcome. Thanks Gary for the report. - iOS: Attach up to 15 photos to a note, with automatic resizing and size guidance. Thanks Simon for asking. - Apple Watch: Offline notes stay queued across app restarts and send automatically when a connection becomes available. - iOS: Automatically Detect now transcribes in the spoken language across the app, including CarPlay. Thanks Werner for the heads up. - iOS: Create Text Note and Create Audio Note shortcuts now work from any screen. - Siri now reports whether the current note was sent or queued while longer sends continue in the background. - Siri can send notes to recipients by name, shows email addresses when clarification is needed, and supports more natural phrases in every language. - "Email Me Note" now accepts an optional recipient, combining Quick Note and Email Note To Recipient while keeping existing shortcuts compatible. Thank you for reading! Please email me at info@emailmeapp.net any suggestions to make the App better for you. - Manuel

- iOS: The app now follows your device's light or dark appearance by default. You can still turn off Use Device Settings and choose a fixed theme. - iOS: Audio notes are now transcribed in the language you picked under Transcript Language. Your choice only applied to recordings transcribed on the device before, so anything transcribed online came back in whatever language it was guessed to be. - Watch: Notes recorded on the Watch follow your Transcript Language too. The setting travels over from your iPhone on its own — when you pick a language, and when you open the app — so a language you chose long ago reaches your Watch without you doing anything. - iOS: Removed the Ask Before Sending switch from Actions Configuration. It never asked anything — it moved the send menu onto the tap — and that menu is still one press-and-hold away on the send button. - iOS: Fixed the notes database occasionally failing to open after an update, which could leave part of the app — the widget, or sending from Shortcuts — seeing no notes until the next launch. Thank you for reading! Please email me at info@emailmeapp.net any suggestions to make the App better for you. - Manuel

- iOS: Notes now say when they went out in plain language — “Sent to Manuel 2 minutes ago” — including notes you sent before this update. Tap that line on a note for the exact date and time, and tap again to go back. - iOS: Photos attached in the composer now open in the full-screen viewer, with its zoom animation and swiping between them. - iOS 26: Every sheet now carries the same clear glass navigation bar, including Your Stats, Share Your Stats, the tag picker and the share link screen. - iOS: The app follows a light/dark switch straight away — navigation bars, search, note rows, open keyboards and section footers no longer keep the previous look until you leave and come back. - iOS: Photo and document previews zoom in and out of their thumbnail cleanly, instead of landing square or sliding away. - iOS: Note details now show when a note was created beneath the card, as “Created today at 9:12”. Thanks Ingo for the suggestion. - iOS: Fixed the Simplified Chinese delivery line, which had the recipient and the date swapped around. - iOS: Fixed a crash in Settings when editing recipients again right after a reorder. Thank you for reading! Please email me at info@emailmeapp.net any suggestions to make the App better for you. - Manuel

- Shared note links now include your attachments. Photos show up in a gallery on the shared page — tap one to view it full screen and swipe through the rest — and any other files can be downloaded right from the page. - iOS: Save attachments out of your notes! Long-press a photo on a note to save it to your Photos library or Files, and long-press a recording or document to save it to Files — or share any of them right from the same menu. - iOS: The full-screen photo viewer now supports pinch and double-tap to zoom, and long-pressing a photo on a note pops up an enlarged preview. - iOS: You can now create tags right from the tag picker, which also got a proper empty state. - iOS: A note's status now updates live while you're looking at it when a send finishes, and the send button on a note offers the full Send To menu. - iOS: The composer toolbar now restyles immediately when you change themes, and the send button keeps its size and shows a spinner while sending. - iOS: Fixed recordings that could get stuck in the composer, and takes orphaned by a crash are now recovered on the next launch. - iOS: Every Settings feature screen now links to its how-to guide, and reduced the app's memory footprint across the board. - iOS: Fixed a crash when selecting recipients in the Widget settings. - iOS: Fixed large PDF and document attachments failing to send through custom SMTP servers even when the server allows them. Thanks Ingo for the heads up. - CarPlay: Fixed crashes when several alerts tried to appear at once. - iOS: Fixed shared web links (and everything after the first line of your note) being dropped from the email body when the recipient uses First Line as Subject. Thanks Rob for the heads up. Thank you for reading! Please email me at info@emailmeapp.net any suggestions to make the App better for you. - Manuel

Email Me is back! I briefly renamed the app to "Audio Notes" and, well, it didn't stick. You knew it, I knew it. So it's Email Me again. Nothing else changed. - Manuel

- Timestamps in transcripts! Every line of a voice note's transcript now shows the moment it was spoken: tap a line to jump straight to that part of the audio, and while it plays the current line highlights and follows along. Works the same on shared note links on the web. - Intelligent Playback: the player now skips the silent parts of your recordings so you get to the point faster. It's on by default and you can turn it off in Advanced Settings → Recordings. The web player on shared links gets its own "Skip silences" toggle and shows how much time it saves you. - Unified current branding around Audio Notes by Email Me while keeping the installed app name short as Audio Notes. - Shared note links now show the app icon and note title on the Lock Screen player when you play a recording from the web. - Fixed the welcome tour appearing again on every launch after it had already been completed. - iOS Shortcuts: Fixed Email Note To Recipient asking you to confirm the only configured recipient, and sometimes reporting an error even though the email was sent successfully. - Apple Watch: Fixed On Open Action → Text Note stopping at an extra Text Note button instead of opening dictation automatically. Thanks Dave for the heads up. - Apple Watch: Fixed notes waiting for Wi-Fi instead of sending immediately over cellular or through a paired iPhone. Thanks Anthony for the heads up. Thank you for reading! Please email me at info@emailmeapp.net any suggestions to make the App better for you. - Manuel

- Big improvements to voice notes! You can now record much longer: up to 60 minutes on iPhone (was 5) and 15 minutes on Apple Watch. Recordings keep going when your screen locks or a call comes in, then pick right back up. Files are smaller and play reliably everywhere, including Outlook and some other mail apps that used to have trouble opening them. On iOS the recording-limit warning now follows your Sounds and Vibrate settings too. I'd love your feedback on the longer recordings, how long are your notes and does everything send and play smoothly? Let me know! - iOS: Improved Safari copied links so a list of tabs now sends as clickable links with page titles when available. Thanks Steven for the heads up. Thank you for reading this release notes! Please email me at info@emailmeapp.net any suggestions to make the App better for you. Manuel

- Added a new Voice alternate app icon with light and dark appearances. - iOS: Added a Hide option for the main toolbar button, with the related Ask Before Sending and button-title settings hidden when the button is off. - Fixed localized app names so the App Store build keeps the correct Audio Notes name across supported languages. - CarPlay: Auto-send after silence now has its own setting, defaults on for hands-free use, and no longer follows the iPhone recording setting. - iOS: Recipient toolbar actions now show more of the recipient's name (up to five letters) in a pill centered under a larger send icon, instead of a cropped corner badge. - Apple Watch: Fixed watch-face complications on newer watchOS versions by migrating older ClockKit entries to the WidgetKit complications and restoring native icon/curved-label rendering for corner slots. - Apple Watch: Audio note subjects now use the transcript text instead of the "Audio Note" placeholder. - Apple Watch: Audio and text notes now respect the "Always Ask" default-recipient setting, showing the recipient picker even when only one recipient is synced. Thank you for reading this release notes! Please email me at info@emailmeapp.net any suggestions to make the App better for you. Manuel

- Fixed a rare crash when the notes database could not be opened, so saving or syncing a note no longer quits the app. - Apple Watch: Fixed text-note complications so they no longer ask you to confirm the recipient when a default recipient is set or only one recipient is synced, taking you straight to the text-note composer again. Thanks Jason for the heads up. - Fixed a rare crash when sending queued notes. Thank you for reading this release notes! Please email me at info@emailmeapp.net any suggestions to make the App better for you. Manuel

- Added recipient-specific toolbar actions, so you can put a one-tap "Send to Work" or "Send to Personal" button in the bottom action bar instead of long-pressing Send. Thanks Max for the idea. - Mac: Fixed the Dock icon so it uses the dark variant when your Mac is in dark mode. Thanks again Karol for spotting that it was still showing the light icon. - Mac: Fixed App hiding dock when showing in the menu bar mode. Thanks again Karol for spotting this. - iOS: Fixed the Black theme so it no longer switches back to Dark after closing and reopening the app. - iOS: Gave the Save button more breathing room above the keyboard while recording so its tapped state no longer gets clipped, and kept Save as Save when stopping a recording. Thanks for the pixel-perfect screenshot. - Shortened the demo guide text so all languages fit within the same length as the English version. - The app is now Audio Notes to better match its new audio-focused features. Thank you for reading this release notes! Please email me at info@emailmeapp.net any suggestions to make the App better for you. Manuel

Thank you for reading this release notes! Please email me at info@emailmeapp.net any suggestions to make the App better for you. Manuel

- Create your own tags to organize notes — each with a name, an icon, and a color — then tap a tag on My Notes to filter to just those notes. Use the new "Manage" chip to add, edit, reorder, and show or hide your tags right alongside the built-in filters, mixing them in any order you like. Add tags to a note from its actions menu or by swiping right on it, and see a note's tags at a glance on its detail screen. - Brought back the option to stop saving notes on your device. Turn off "Enable Notes" in Settings → Advanced → Notes and sent notes are no longer kept after they're sent, so My Notes and your statistics stay empty. Thanks Jonas for the nudge to put the choice back in your hands. - Mac: The app icon now has a dark variant that matches your system appearance, and thanks Karol for the suggestion. - When note saving is off, My Notes and Statistics now explain why they're empty instead of showing a blank screen — My Notes with a gentle animation, and Statistics with an icon and a short note under the overview. - Fixed the Swedish title for a new note, which read "Ny not" instead of "Ny anteckning". Thank you for reading this release notes! Please email me at info@emailmeapp.net any suggestions to make the App better for you. Manuel
