Fell in love with this app

I never wrote a review on any app. I absolutely love this one. I was a bit hesitant, because $20/month (I didn’t want to do the whole year subscription) seemed like a lot of money for an app. I am so glad I did it. I don’t have any gym membership, so $20 a month to get me work out 3-4 times a week is just so worth it. Workouts are safe, yet challenging! I didn’t really like the pregnancy workouts on YT, because I practically didn’t feel them. With this app I can definitely tell I worked out. I don’t really use the recipes, but I really enjoy the pelvic floor exercises and the guided meditations. It’s also very esthetically pleasing and super easy to navigate. 5/5 from me and thank you for this app!

Repetitive but good for keeping you on track

I couldn’t decide if I should give 3 or 4 stars. Here’s what I like: the tracking feature. You are given a set number of workouts to complete in a week (I have mine set to four because I like to run/walk in addition to using this app). The set number of workouts to check off my list keeps me motivated. I like the pelvic floor exercises because otherwise I’d never do them. There are also other features like audio workouts (I suppose people use these at the gym as opposed to watching along with the video) and you can always search and do more than your recommended weekly workouts.

What I don’t like: the workouts can be very repetitive within a set. For example it’ll have you doing donkey kicks all workout long it feels like. They could spice it up a bit and work the same area in a different way. I also don’t like that the advanced option isn’t very advanced. I’m a pretty fit person and really enjoy working out and I give it my all every time so I expect an advanced workout to make me sweat and tire me out. Oftentimes, I feel like I could keep going for wayyy past the end of the workouts.

Edit**** the developers heard our concerns the glitches have been fixed. Since it’s a new app there’s always room for improvement. Some exercises are missing equipment needed before it starts. For example there’s some workouts where I’ve needed a mat since there’s floor stretching but it didn’t have it in the equipment needed. But it do enjoy that the model doing the exercises is the same stage of pregnancy as I am to ensure the safety of the movements.

Edit**** they added demonstrations before workout but a lot of times during the demonstrations it glitches and when it goes to the workout it will jump to half the workout or finishes and goes to the next**** hope they fix it

I love the app, started using it as I entered my second trimester and had to slow down from my regular HIIT workouts. However, I do feel it needs a bit more time between workouts to either grab the weights or put them down. I end up missing the first few reps. It seems that it’s the same workouts weekly which I thought would be different as my growing belly will get in the way of some. And wish there were some more weight training for upper body workouts. Other than that love the exercises and videos

Hi cprado23! We're so happy to hear you're enjoying the app so far - and the good news is we'll soon be making modifications to the Fitness Studio workouts to allow for more transition time! Additionally - the workouts do change as you progress through pregnancy to meet the needs of your changing body shape. They may not drastically change from one week to the next in terms of the types of moves, but as you get farther into your pregnancy you'll notice that the workouts will adjust with you.
