The parking process at the beginning of my trip was okay. I was informed prior to my trip that the original covered lot I had requested was no longer available so I was switched to a lot without being able to select where. The new lot was uncovered and no security gates but was assured from the original confirmation email it had 24 hour security and Camera surveillance. However, no one was there when we arrived at 6:30 am. Texting the shuttle an hour before needing to be picked up worked fine. But the return trip was more difficult. How are we expected to text an 60 minutes prior to needing a ride when on an airplane? Mind you, with no response back or contact information other than this number. To be proactive, I texted at 1:45 pm informing of when I should arrive and my flight information. Then I texted at 4:36 pm saying we had arrived. At 6:15 pm, no shuttle arrived so we had to book an Uber. I texted the number multiple times, called, and tried calling customer service. NOTHING. And to top it all off, when I got to the lot, my car looked fine, but someone definitely went through my car. The window had some skid marks on it, which looked like my window had been forced open and somehow closed again. The glove box and center console was completely ransacked. Nothing seemed to be missing but my personal information was out at risk. I’ll NEVER be using this company again. And anyone who gets sent to Heller Lot A&B in Harrison from Ways, I warn you to be prepared for a negative experience.
First time parking customer

I found the entire process very smooth as a first time parking customer. I made my reservation, made a small deposit, used gps to locate the lot at 5am, pulled in and was handed a stub, found a spot to park, the shuttle pulled up in less than 2 minutes, was helped with luggage, and arrived at departure in less than 10 minutes & handed a card with my parking number. My arrival was the same, helped with luggage, gave the card to the driver, dropped off at my vehicle, exited the lot after paying. Also, both drivers were very nice, helpful, and overall enjoyable to talk to. I already booked a second date since I’m traveling in a few weeks. I had anticipation about the entire process but it was smooth sailing. Also, if you are worried you might lose the stub (to pay) and/or the card with your parking spot number..just go on the app and enter your parking spot number and you can pay on the app on your way out. Much easier than trying to locate them.

This was both a wonderful and horrible experience. TLDR: Great service, but they severely overcharged on the back end, and a logical refund was a hassle. The wonderful: I secured valet parking near the airport at a rate of $5.50 per day for four days. Drop of was quick, easy, and professional. I was then immediately escorted to the airport. The entire process took less than 10 minutes. At this point I was a huge fan. My return flight got delayed several times, ultimately pushing my pickup back by four hours on the same day. Each time it got delayed, I responsibly extended my reservation. The horrible: They charged me $90. To park for four days. I could have parked at the airport for a full week for less. I had to verbally wrestle with customer support to get a *partial* refund. The $40 first charge was at least reasonable, with taxes and hidden fees and good service. But three additional $17 charges for extension was a clerical or computer error at best, and an exorbitant rip off at worst. I had to speak harshly with a supervisor to have them refund only two of the three additional charges. I deducted a star for each additional charge. I will not be using them again. If you choose to, I’d recommend reserving for an extra day at the onset to prevent any additional extension fees.

How’s this for customer service: We made a reservation, paid for it in full through the app. Showed up at the location for the event last night (Staples Center in LA), only to find out that Lot has been out of business for quite a while!So, basically I paid for a spot, showed up to find it fenced off/closed, had to drive to another Lot (btw that Lot attendant told us numerous other people complained to him that they had been duped the same way recently by Way re the closed up Lot), then pay for that new spot in full, all of this caused us to be late for the event, and best of all.. I just called Way customer service to let them know what happened. Their response was not an apology, or sorry, or thanks for letting us know. What they said was “as far as we know the Lot is still open, (they basically called me a liar) and since i’m calling them after the event date (as opposed to??) they won’t give me a refund unless i send them a copy of the receipt for the additional $20 i had to pay to the other Lot i ended up parking at! Then, they would “review” it and get back to me to see if it qualifies for a refund! Needless to say, I immediately deleted the App and will never use Way again. There are several other much better options out there, and ones that care more about the customer experience than just making a quick buck.
