The MyNavy UNIFORMS application provides all Sailors with the necessary information and guidance to properly wear all Navy uniforms, components, and accoutrements. The app offers NAVADMINS, policy updates, FAQs, and illustrations on Navy uniforms from a variety of Department of the Navy sources, organizing all pertinent guidance into one simple, searchable app. The app features a gallery of helpful uniform instructions and images to illustrate proper wear and care of Working, Service, Dress, and Formal uniforms. In fact, the app has information on all basic, prescribed, and optional authorized uniform components and accoutrements. KEY SECTIONS & FEATURES: Uniform Browser This capability allows Users to see visual examples of proper uniform wear of all types by selecting different options, such as rank/rating, occasion, and components. Users will also find pertinent information related to each selection. NAVPERS 15665J This section provides information on the main elements of this NAVPERS, notably Chapter 3 (which focuses on uniforms for male and female Enlisted, Chief Petty Officers, and Officers) and Chapter 2 (which focuses on grooming and appearance standards). NAVADMIN Library This section offers links to a variety of articles and regulations relevant to the proper wear and maintenance of Navy uniforms. Uniform Regulations FAQ This section offers answers to common Sailor questions about uniform wear and grooming requirements. Feedback This section provides a mechanism for asking questions and providing comments about the app and uniform regulations. The app also includes sections detailing Emergency resources, as well as a Favorites section, which allows users to bookmark and easily access parts of the app they find personally important.

It pulls its information straight from NPC, which is fine, however, there is still detailed information missing (ie, blousing of boots and the how-to, location of blousing straps, etc.). That’s was the first instruction I went to on the app so that’s all I’m pulling from for now. Other than that, it’s a good quick reference for sailors. Keep up the good work.

Certain things are not in the app, rather the app contains a link to the source instruction. While it’s good to have the source handy, that’s not what this app is for. This app is meant to be a quick reference guide. In particular, the dress uniforms replace the ribbon wear details with a link. Those kind of small details are what we need to be able to check quickly. Scrolling through the entire original instruction is not quick.

This app does not have a section for pregnancy uniforms. So you have to download another app just get that information. It makes sense to have all uniform matters inside the uniform app. Also if you try to use the feedback option it doesn’t work.

Could be updated to carry all uniform regulations. Also, on settings tab, app freezes if “Reminders” is selected.Also, it is not clear just as why this feature is included in an app that is about uniforms.
