Map Layers Menu update: Make the most of your hunting data with increased understanding and interpretation of each map layer on your map with the elegant face-lift we gave the Map Layers Menu. We made it that much more easy to navigate to the Advanced Layer customizable options. We also refined the instructional content and added helpful Map Layer Descriptions for all layers. Additionally, the former Springs and Guzzlers layers have been aggregated into the new Water Source layer to simplify the steps in viewing these essential water sources, both natural and man-made, together on your map. The Water Source and Game Ranges layers are now included in the Shedicated subscription. 18 map layers are free to use in the Scout To Hunt App. There is no subscription required to access the value and insight they add to your map and hunting. Antlered Game Marker update: As with the other unique Marker experiences and tools in the Scout To Hunt App, we have created a unique Marker experience specifically for the antlered game markers. These currently include: Elk, Mule Deer, Whitetail, Coues, Moose, and Pronghorn. This update sets the foundation for momentous features ahead.

New Match Set Mode and Summary Card With this improved design and experience, matching sets of antlers on your map is much more intuitive, and more importantly, informative. Match Set Mode Improved visibility and guidance prevents the selection of incorrect Shed Markers when selecting the other side to match. The new confirmation screen makes it much easier to confirm your selected Shed Markers as a matched set. The Matched Set line color that is displayed on your map between matching Shed Markers has also been changed to increase visibility on your Topo and Sat/Hybrid base maps. Summary Card The Matched Set Summary card appears on both of the respective matched Shed Markers and displays the information for both antlers for a quick and simple way to review your matched set. The sum of the antler sizes and points is shown, in addition to the estimated spread, to provide an overall score estimate for the set. The antler size and number of points must be entered on the Shed Summary cards for each individual Shed Marker you have matched in order to display the matched set totals accurately. Side-by-Sides We all love a side-by-side set! So we provided an easy way to designate your matched sets as a side-by-side with the new Side-by-Side button on the Summary card. What's Next? Quick Hide/Unhide Map Layers If you tend to have multiple layers on your map but run into the issue of wanting to quickly see your map without layers, you can now do so without having to individually turn off each map layer to then to turn them all individually back on again. Press and Hold your Layers Menu button to quickly hide all active layers on your map. Press and Hold your Layers Menu button to quickly show them on your map again.
