Description

Ballistic-X is the easiest way to calculate shot groups and to zero a rifle! Designed by shooters, the simple and intuitive interface allows user to setup their own preferences via our Options Menu. Options includes MOA/MIL, INCH/CM, and will work with any target, including Steel.

*** Sync your settings across multiple devices by signing in. You can still use the app without signing into an account by selecting not now ***

BX also offers useful data and labeling options that aid in Load Development.

Our ATZ (Adjustment To Zero) feature tells shooter precisely how to adjust turrets to bring rifle to Zero, allowing a perfect zero with fewer rounds shot. ATZ works dynamically at any range and is compatible with all turret options!

Workflow is simple:

- Take image of Target (within App or from Library)
- Designate reference size via Settings (default is 1”)
- Mark the two points on target which coincide with reference (grid target or steel target). The distance between the two points is reference size.
- Input distance from Target
- Select the Caliber used
- Mark Point Of Aim and Impacts
- Add Overlay, Label, Crop, and Export / Share
- Adjust Optic according to ATZ

Ballistic-X is a community driven App committed to the best user experience possible along with customer service second to none!

Needs something more then it would be great…

You don’t need this app to determine group size or even offset from center. You can do this with a ruler and eyeball estimating. Even CEP is easy by hand. What would be great is a statistical estimate of variation from the group center…not only standard deviation but also 95% probability. For example if you have 9 shots through the same hole and one shot two inches away, that’s a two inch group. But statistically it’s a very small group and that’s more meaningful. An app can make this calculation but it’s hard to calculate by hand. Please consider adding this sophistication

Get it!

I love this app. It takes pictures of your target, mesures it, grabs caliber, distance and other measurements you want - easy! I know there are some other enhancements in the works that will make it better. Look around at articles on software like this. BX is always there.

When working up loads for a new-to-me caliber this app was indispensable in accurately marking and analyzing my targets. For OCW testing you can measure distances to the center which is more accurate than pencils and calipers. Can’t go wrong with this app for dialing in your loads and giving food feedback on your shooting.

Good but would like more for the cost

App is great and easy to use and the ability to add a tag to the groups is very handy. I would like the ability to compare groups on the same picture for load development which looking at some other similarly priced apps and programs this one should have that functionality as well. Otherwise, not disappointed with the purchase and I have used it quite a bit for easy confirmation on group size and bragging rights.
