I am adding to my review…..STILL a garbage app that never lets you sign in again. Keeps saying my onetime password is wrong after telling me my original password is incorrect. This is untrue. They said they fixed it but they didn’t. If this is any indication of how they put out a product then I do not have full confidence in the water purifier. Don’t get it. It’s questionable. They keep lying and saying they fixed the app and telling everyone the same steps to do but non of it works and it seems they don’t really care because if they did they would have actual tech people fix it. There is no excuse for this. Old review: I read the reviews but purchased the WiFi feature anyway. BIG MISTAKE! Obviously made but someone who doesn’t know what they are doing nor do they check the app for bugs. It doesn’t work and there is no assistance when there are problems. Makes me wonder about follow thru and accuracy of everything with this product

I love my AquaTru Connect. The triple threat water filtration system makes clean, delicious-tasting water, and it’s serving its purpose well. I love the app because I remain fully aware of the status of each filter. I can use them up completely, knowing exactly how much usage I have left for each filter. This allows me to get all my money’s worth out of each one. I’ve had my AquaTru Connect for 1.25 years, and am still on my first set of filters. I’ll be replacing two filters that are currently at 8% left, and the third filter is still at 58%. So, great usage out of each filter, with a whole year left on one of them. Most importantly, my tap water is getting filtered 3 ways (Pre/Carbon filter, Reverse Osmosis filter, and Voc Carbon filter), tastes great, and the app allows me to keep up with the statuses of the filter.

OK so it doesn’t specify this and it really should before you buy it honestly, but it’s really important to know that you need to be on a 2.5 gig band when you set this up … your phone needs to be on a 2.5 gig band or it will not work. And yes your location is required every time you use the app (I think this is because it doesn’t actually measure TDS and it just relies on your location to tell you what that is as per your cities water) Also this thing does not count gallons used it just estimates. It’s actually not going to tell you filter life accurately. Definitely not worth the extra money considering it’s just counting water and not actually measuring filter life based on water flow, TDS or membrane health. All in all this app is useless and it was definitely a waste of money getting the smart carafe.

I have spent so much of my time trying to connect my iOS device to the AquaTru Carafe Smart RO device. At this time, I’m getting the message dialog:AquaTru Please turn on Local Network Permission from the settings, to connect the device
Furthermore, the Smart App doesn't list itself within the following screen:iOS  18.3.1 > Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network  Thus, I’m unable to enable this permission for the AquaTru Smart App because there’s no entry in the list of apps. During the last 3 weeks, I have spoken to AquaTru support staff 3 to 4 times regarding this issue without success. I was told from AquaTru’s support that my issue has been forwarded to the engineering team. To date, I haven’t received an update from AquaTru’s engineering team regarding this issue. Do they know about this issue and are they working on it? At this time, I don’t have an answer to that question.At this time, I’m forced to give it a low rating until this issue is resolved.
