I have been a mobile Bias FX and Amp user since the first version released a while back. I have the Elite pack, which is totally worth it. The tones I am getting are incredible. I use my Bias rig live for everything whether I am playing a guitar or a bass. I get questions from guitarists with multi thousand dollar rigs asking me how I got an iPad to sound so good. I pair with Bias Amp and use IR files for cabinet sims. Many of my tones originated from other users on tonecloud and were just tweaked a little. The results are absolutely great. I only see 2 things that would make my review go from 4 to 5 stars. 1. Tuner improvement - the tuner jumps around everywhere, which makes tuning in live situations take much longer than it should. I find myself checking by ear to verify the tuner, and sometimes my tuning is still off. The free Piano Tuner app on my phone is far superior, and this should not be the case. 2. The ability to see my entire FX chain at a glance- since I play live using MIDI to turn individual pedals on and off within a patch, I sometimes forget if I have certain effects turned on or off in the middle of a set because I can’t bend down and scroll over. My POD X3 live even had this feature back in 2009. I get that chains can become very large an complicated, but a display option that zooms out paired with a chain that is displayed as a line that curves and displays as a stack rather than a single linear line that goes off the screen could help with this. (Look up POD X3 display to see what I am talking about here.) This app is awesome, and I will gladly upgrade if a newer version is released. I hope this review is helpful to new users as well as the development team.
Absolutely loved it

(I will edit if I get a reply)As the title says, I absolutely love this app. I still I use it. People say that my set up sounds professional, even though I’m using my phone, which is amazing to hear, but I’m going to copy and paste something that has been an issue with me and that needs fixed. after an iOS update, the issue hasn’t been fixed and after multiple Dropbox updates, the issues still hasn’t been fixed.“Well, has the subject title says I am not able to back up presents to Dropbox and in fact, I’ve waited with nothing but a continuous loop for an hour trying to back up to Dropbox and yes, I troubleshooted the problem as well.I unlinked dropbox, I uninstalled dropbox reinstalled it re-linked it and tried to do it with the same issue. I only waited 15 minutes this time, and then I decided to uninstall Dropbox again sign out of BiasFX 2 mobile re-sign into it after I downloaded dropbox again, and I am still unable to back up presets from BiasFX 2 mobile to Dropbox.”
Really great app

I picked up the Positive Grid RIFF and wanted a way to use it on my iPad, it came with BIAS FX 2 LE. It was pretty limited but good enough to pay for the upgrade. I have been very happy with the purchase. There is far more potential for guitar tones than I will ever use. I tend to fine a couple tones that work and stick with them. I’m just “noodle” around and am not recording or playing anywhere but my room. My wishlist of it is to be able to utilize my Tonecloud account for my Spark 40, also to be able to use this in split screen since if the app isn’t the active app it cuts out. I expect that is a limitation of the iPad and not the software. Ideally it would be able to be split screen with my tabs on one side. Better yet would be able to put to the background or mini window and still be active while a PDF or browser is on screen to allow to utilize it along with sheet music on screen as well. This is the only reason I gave it 4 vs 5 stars.
Sounds Great But Buggy
Massoura Nerd
The sounds are very pleasing, the app has great potential, m issues are the mobile cloud app freezes up if you select a preset that has an effect that is only compatible the desktop. Why these yackoffs haven’t fixed this issue over all this time is beyond my comprehension, it make the cloud experience almost unbearable, as you have to restart the app every time you come across a desktop only preset. This makes you have to sat your search all over again. I wish the DEVs would pull there heads out of there bums and wipe the poo out of there eyes and fix this major issue. Also the app needs a pre delay box or knob that can be used on any effect or amp.Th splitter has time delay but the application does not allow you to use it before the amp only after .If these Devs would implement pre delay setting in the effects and amps this would really double the amount of sounds we could program.
