I didn’t think drums of this caliber and a true authentic feeling freestyle and jam inducing environment could ever be even close to being replicated by I’m assuming is an AI programmed super jazz drummer enthusiast that I feel honored to have the chance to jam with haha but boy was I wrong. What you guys have done here with Jazz Drummer and Soft Drummer is truly an incredible, inspiring and wonderful way to stop feeling uninspired like I was after losing my old band and the awesome feeling of just getting to play with someone and not have to operate, punch in , synthesize or do anything else besides feel the music and energy within the room and just let your body and soul do the playing, free styling and creating. Thank you so much for creating this wonderful innovation in music that continues to be at the forefront ages ahead of any other drum machine, groove box or whatever trying to emulate what you have achieved through your wonderful apps.

Much better than a click, or canned sample drums, Jazz drummer continues the strive for perfection in jazz rhythmic drum accompaniment tools for iOS, with boundless creative and supportive applications for students and professionals. If you want a dynamic jazz drummer at your fingertips, this is every bit as good as funk drummer in terms of usability, and perhaps even better sounding. It sounds like a real drummer. Oh, and programming your own sequences and tweaking the swing (feel) add another level of customization. I have purchased the two extra drummers and highly recommend this application for producers and performers of jazz and contemporary music who wish to have a great toolkit for accompaniment tracks and demos. The possibilities are widely unexplored on my part, still, and this is what I was inspired to share. Thanks for a great app at a fair price. Excellent value…priceless really.

I am 61 yrs old and have loved music all my life. When my peers were all listening to hard rock I was into jazz and fusion. Upon purchase of this app I immediately found a new musical resource for the toolbox. Add to Soft Drummer the iBassist app and you can spend hours upon hours going down musical paths you probably never thought possible before. Having the extra drumming styles takes an already powerful app and transforms it into a powerhouse. I recommend that you not wait to download this app. Any hesitation is only preventing you for a truly joyful experience. And don't forget about the iBassist app to take your ideas even further.

Got this and Reggae Drummer at about the same time. They really are a lot more fun to jam with than typical drum machines. That said, I feel like I’m probably missing a lot because of the absence of documentation. For example, it took me watching a video regarding iBassist to figure out how to sync the apps. I’m also at the point where my interpretation of the jam controls is essentially just more means more stuff going on. (Knocked this down from a perfect rating for the unlabeled controls in the jam page. Familiarity with Reggae Drummer offered clues but I disliked guessing in an otherwise polished app when there was obviously space available.) If I want to move past playing with the preset patterns, some guidance would help.
