We have been listening to our new users from Give+ Mobile and have introduced a number of changes within this release to better serve your church community. We have included a number of bug fixes and UX improvements.

Good App but Needs MAJOR Improvements
I’m a new user of the Vanco Mobile App and it’s a very nice app with different elements that aren’t in the average Giving App.
However, the app takes FOREVER to find your organization. It may not even find your organization even though it’s set up with Vanco. Giving also is tedious because, you can only give/donate to one fund at a time, whereas with a company like Givelify, you can give to multiple funds at once. No one wants to spend 30 minutes going back and forth to give or donate to multiple funds when they can do it all at one time with other giving apps, I mean it is 2021 after all. But lastly, when searching for a fund all I see is “General Fund” which isn’t even a fund or a tile because I created the giving tiles for Vanco Mobile; “General Fund” is not one of them. This has been going on for a couple weeks now and STILL has not been fixed.
As I stated earlier it is a good app that can really help an organization communicate, fellowship, and partner with their community and congregation especially in Today’s times. It just need some slight tweaking, to really beat the competition.
This new Vanco app is really clunky. The first and worst thing is that every time you want to use the app you have to search for your church. That’s just dumb. Once you’ve done it, it should be automatic in perpetuity. The UI is weird. There’s little information on the Home Screen other than a Google Map which is totally unnecessary. When I used the menu to go to my profile, when I tried to return to the home page it couldn’t be found. I had to logout and then login again. Please go back to Give+. It was basic but it worked. This new thing is useless.
Not ready for prime time
The mobile giving app is very glitchy. I selected a fund but there were no choices under frequency until I selected a different fund. The Give button remained disabled as I chose selections. I eventually got it to go through by selecting different combinations of funds and frequencies and payment methods. If I weren’t doing this as a test I would have given up. Also, the lack of a note field to allow people to enter a special donation or a specific memorial is a severe drawback for the accounting/bookkeeping staff. I also encountered issues where login simply didn’t work even with the right username and password.
